I find it ironic that I ordered it though HMV HK & it's made in Taiwan T______________T

I should have waited a bit longer to ask my Taiwanese friend Cliff for help but ah never mind , I'm already doing that for GIRL NEXT DOOR's NEXT FUTURE album

I'm very sure that Sony BMG has separate branches in Taiwan & Hong Kong

for YesAsia's case , not everything they sold on their site's HK press . Most of the Johnny's material that're OS press for example , they're all made in taiwan by avex Taiwan & NEVER in Hong Kong at all (but there're some exceptations like for ARASHI's Dream"A"live)

avex artistes , it depends . For ayumi , Kumi Kuu , Namie & otsuka , it's understood that OS press of their material's made in Hong Kong AND in Taiwan as they're on the more profitable side of things even though I find it strange that Kumi's singles do not have HK press but I think it's because she's under rhythm zone & not the main avex branch itself

Others like OLIVIA , Anna Tsuchiya , GIRL NEXT DOOR , OS press of their material are made in Taiwan & never in Hong Kong (yet)

anyway to answer your question before I go off topic , I ordered my copy of ATTITUDE though HMV HK & when I checked the back , it's made in Taiwan T_T

ironically , my OS press of Kuroki's hellcat is made in Hong Kong o.o

actually i used hmv japan this time(to save money), it's via EMS and i'm shocked to receive it on the release date.
normally for hmv japan, i get my stuff like 2 days after the release date...

I guess Sony BMG Taiwan must be the OS publisher for this release then. It's probably cheaper to get them to do it since her sales are going down.

Something like that would offend my collector's sensibilities and bug the hell out of me.

I can't stand having multiple publishers or random catalog numbers in my collection and it's one of the reasons reason I don't buy OS press anymore. Another reason is because I don't like when an OS release is missing content like bonus tracks due to licensing issues.

I guess if you're HMV HK , naturally items that you sell that're made in HK itself will be cheaper

I think it just so happened this time round for some odd reason , Sony BMG HK didn't made a HK press for ATTITUDE & HMV HK had to import stock from Taiwan which contributed to the rather hefty price I had to pay X__X
