I know and some others think the same.
But I absolutely love this version from her and apart from one line, I understand her engrish pretty clearly. It's so much fun and it has a lot of power. And by the way I also adore the live version from TRICK tour. I have to swing and dance along every time I hear or watch it.

Ugh, see, I actually have to cringe anytime I hear or see Kuu's Venus! XD Then again, every single other version of that song, including the original, kinda makes me cringe, too..... So, it's not entirely your fault, Kumi.

I didn't see this posted before so I thought I would share. Kuu and her new look will also be on the cover of the gyaru magazine JELLY. This is rare, as JELLY, as with most gyaru magazines, don't usually feature singers on the cover. It's kinda funny too, cause I was just watching the new CM and was going on the JELLY website to look at their new mini movies, and there Kuu was!!

to be honest I didn't like this song at first, but after watching that performance at TRICK Tour I feel in love with it now. I love the dancing too and how people got pumped while kuu was singing it.
I'm so sad though that we never got the Venus performance at a-nation'08 in full ): just a little clip in the a-channel report. u_u

by the way, Got To Be Real is SO CATCHY! <3
I downloaded the mp3 rip from KKL and I can't stop hearing it. lol
I really hope kuu will release the full version soon, this song fits perfectly as a b-side of a summer single imo! *O*

Like, there are some of her ballades that are pretty boring, or some of those really cheesy pop songs, but I usually end up liking them in one way or another, just because of the way she presents it, alone, hah. That's actually one of the reasons I love her so much. Whether that's good or bad. ^_^'
