Anna Tsuchiya - The 6th Official Thread

After much internal debate about which version I should get, I finally broke my streak of only buying CD+DVD singles and preordered the CD only version of Atashi so I can get the first press booklet. But as soon as I receive it, I'm going to sell the CD on eBay, keep the booklet, and rebuy the CD+DVD version and make my own first press CD+DVD+booklet.

It's a good idea, actually! XD You'll lose some money, but not as much as you would've keeping the CD.

I've always bought all of the CD+DVD versions of her singles (except her earlier singles that didn't come with a DVD of course) so it was really hard for me to get the CD only version, lol. But if my plans work out the way I want, it will all be worth it, even if I lose a few dollars in the process. Plus, I'll be supporting Anna even more by buying both versions of her single so that's a plus as well. Thank goodness the next single will only come with an application only valid in Japan as a first press item so I won't have to do this again, lol.

I know how that feels. I've done the exact same thing with SID, until I recently had to stop because of money issues. It was like I was abandoning them XD

If I would have had the money, I would have bought both versions at the same time and sold the CD only version. But because I don't have much money to spend at the moment, I feel like I can only afford to buy one and then sell it to have the money to buy the other. It's hard to have to change your normal spending habits because your financial situation takes a shift so I definetely understand where you're coming from. Hopefully things will change us so we can have more financial freedom in the near future.

I used to have all of Anna's singles but I gave them all away to prussian_blue 8D

his face was like that when he opened up his mailbox -> X_X xD

I also gave him the CD only / 1st press of Brave vibration too & I don't think he wants me to spend anymore $ on him with regards to Atashi 8D

well I don't know , I'm full of surprises x) but for me now , I rather get her albums & I have all of her albums from Taste My Beat all the way to NUDY SHOW ! & that goes for her NANA concept theme album too

I probably would have cried in joy if I was prussian_blue, lol. He's a lucky guy and you're a great friend to do that! I regret not getting the 1st press of Brave Vibration when I had the opportunity but if I ever see it for sale one day, I'll certainly pick it up. The last album of hers I need is the Anna Tsuchiya inspi' Nana one to be officially caught up so I hope to get it soon. I found out about Anna through Nana so it means a lot to me as I'm obsessed with Nana, lol. And thanks for pointing out the update to Anna's site. I'm super excited! Atashi and Hey You! have really grown on me so I'm looking forward to what she's coming out with next.

for me I was listening to OLIVIA , well my younger sister recommend her material to me as she & Anna contributed songs for the NANA anime

for some odd reason , my sister didn't listen to Anna's music but I do like what she has to offer

& oh don't worry you still can get good copies of her NANA concept album on Ebay at reasonable prices

I loved that PV!! So simplistic but still badass Anna. Atashi is growing on me~ I love the intro.

i really like the song although i'm not too fond of the first half, it kind of takes a while to get catchy.

the song is alright, but its definitely not my favorite of hers. i got a little bored by the time it was over.

as for the PV, her facial expressions were just killing me, but i realllllly couldn't stand the way she kept flipping her head. it just drove me crazy to the point that i wanted to turn off the video.

i was hoping to like it more. maybe it will grow on me.

^AHHHH!!!! I found another NANA fan!!! speaking of Nana, i just find that anna will be more suitable for Nana's role then Mika, but Mika had done quite a good job, especially this is her first acting experience.

well you found Anna through NANA, i found her through Sakuran(but i got interest in her when she sings the songs for NANA, sinc i LOVE LOVE LOVE NANA!!!!!), and through Ana, i found my promoter job at Casio!
2 years ago, I was shopping at a shopping mall, when i saw Anna's Baby G CM playing at the GShock factory, so i end up stopping outside to watch the cm. Then, i saw a notice from the EXILIM that they are looking for camera promoter.
I called the number, got an interview on the next day and WHAM!!! i got the job!!!

to be honest, a lot of people do not know who is Anna in Singapore, so last november, when we were having our company gathering, my japanese boss was amaze and happy that i'm a fan of Anna! He actually asked me whether do i know that she is our spokerson! i just answered him,'of course!'

Still not one of her strongest songs, but its not bad. The full version is a lot catchier, and I like the main guitar riff as well.

Atashi is a good song, but there's nothing overly memorable. It's a safe song for her that doesn't really stand out too much. I like the "Tell me tell me tell me" parts a LOT though, there should have been more of those
