Any confirmation that the HK press does not come with the photobook? I hope not, cos that's rather disappointing (although great reason to spend more money on ayu!)

oh I wasn't dissing Gaga - im pretty sure all of us work much less than ayu lol. I only brought Gaga up cos I saw her recently and that's what she told us. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be putting lots of money into a concert ticket if I spent my time bashing Gaga on the internet. Sounds like Gaga is a taboo word here now which is rather hilarious/sad. I'm sorry but what I dislike more than people nonsense artist-bashing are people telling others what not to post.

I was kidding. Take it easy. And I hardly think I was "bashing" her. All I was saying (and the other member) is she looked a whole lot more tired than Ayu on Music Station. As for me calling Gaga a prostitute.. well.. she acts like one and sings about wanting to take a ride of someone's "disco stick". Not exactly any bashing here. It was a joke anyway, and I don't feel like I have to justify myself. But since you brought it up..

What's worse about this forum is that hardly anyone even remotely has a sense of humour, and that's why there are so many pointless flamewars. It's not that hard to ignore, skip over a post if it offends you that much. Its even worse when we get posts of "DONT SAY THIS PLZ I TAKE OFFENSE". That's why this forum is doing down the drain. Internet is free-speech. People can express whatever opinions they want.

I'm just as frustrated as you with all the ayu+gaga talk, but what we were talking about was a valid discussion. We weren't dissing her.

So I listened to the album today a few times and it's growing on me. I am starting to stop thinking in how I thought the songs were gonna be and taking them as is. But right when I got to meaning of Love I was like "What the ****** is this!?" Lol.

It's a sign that you're not Japanese, perhaps? Haha.

The Japanese seem to love the song.

Like... really.

I find that its placement above EXILE songs is quite refreshing, haha.

Yeah but I love the J-POPPY songs usually. Like, Days I absolutely love. Seriously I am obsessed with it. It's too perfect. It was like the winter ballad I had always wanted from her. Wintery, and poppy, and nice. I couldn't have thought up a more perfect song for her to make to fit my preferences/hopes if I had the power to do so myself.

meaning of Love is just too... boring for me?

I would say it's simple, not boring.

But the beauty of it imo is in its simplicity~

Lol, see it's just like contradictory to what I love. Like JEWEL was simple and stunning. People thought Days had a simple melody but that was the genius of it - it was simple but perfect. meaning of Love isn't so simple to me - like the melody isn't easy for me to get into. Both JEWEL and Days were simple and had simple choruses, but the beauty was that they were so powerful. It truly felt like a climax and in full chorus.

I also love how we're posting back and forth in two different threads. Lol.

It's a very sweet song with a kind of strange melody, but imo once you get into it, you're hooked. JEWEL seemed more like an epic ballad compared to both Days and meaning of Love. I feel like she made meaning of Love as an indirect sequel to Days, haha.

Maybe you'll warm up to the song soon, haha. I had literally no expectations (I didn't try picturing/imagining how each song would sound) for the tracks and I love every one of them.

Well I guess if I hope to warm up to it I better at least try and make it through the whole thing. Lol. I've only skipped through it to sample it and can't really listen to it. Lol. The songs are getting stuck in my head though and that's what makes me want to listen to them and slowly start to like them more.
