I personally think their is no competition for X-japan. They are THE most influencial group in japanese music history, plus they're songs just pwn. There was no question about who i was gonna pick, as members that i talk to may have guessed

However, DeG, L'arc, MM, Siam Shade... they're alllllllllllll good. ^_^

I love Luna Sea, but I'd have to say B'z is also quite good. My favourite is FAKE?, though, but they're more obscure and their songs are actually in English.

any band that i ends up becoming a "fave" normally lasts a few months till i heard another awesome band
im sad to hear of one my fave bands "blast" broke up :*( and they never made it major..but i guess that happens a lot =_=
