Beautiful. Always one of my Favs from ayu. She should write more about historical figures

I remember learning of Joan when I was 10 she's always been an inspiration in a sense

thanks the video was locked in my country.

I didn't know she taken inspiration from this song, but it fits well with the whole Joan of Arc theme single.
Thanks for sharing this!

I've known of this for years.

HAL were the arrangers of Free & Easy. On their old website, one of the members listed composer Eric Serra (a frequent contributor with director Luc Besson and the composer of the music in The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc) as an influence.

Eric Serra was never credited on the Free & Easy single or the RAINBOW album for the complete & total lifting of the first 35 seconds of this song. This was not a legal thing that HAL did, and I've been angry about it for pretty much forever, as I'm a big fan of Eric Serra's very creative and beautiful work.

But, meh, what can you do. ALOT of people have noticed that the tracks are exactly the same but on two different keys, but nothing was ever done about it. And now it's been eight years, so it's probably water under the bridge if Eric Serra was ever made aware of this. But still. Grrr.
