What Inspires You?

Music in general. All the kind of music I hear in the radio / TV charts that I like, all the music that surrounds me here in Europe but also ayu of course!
Her lyrics are extremely important to me, with them I feel like my emotions are understood and I can let them out.
Also Kuu.. XD like Ero-Kakkoii said, when I see her body I just want to go jogging and stop eating sweets!

Also my family and my boyfriend. Love itself, it's so incredibly important. It makes me want to be a better person.

She's hardworking, responsible, sweet, beautiful, and a wonderful personality She is very talented too. I know many people say she isn't a good vocalist, but I have to disagree. Everyone has their bad times; honestly, she did have some, but overall her voice is very gorgeous. She is an excellent songwriter, though. Brilliant. She can remember people who have died and honor them, which I also respect. She lost her left ear. She didn't quit, she didn't retire from singing or try to pull a pity party. She moved on and continued to sing and do what she loved, even with only one ear. She doesn't give up. I respect her for this as well.
Ayu is my biggest inspiration, and I'll always admire her for this.

I never thought that Ayu had a bad voice in the beginning cause I was too young to understand the "technics" of music back then, but now I like to think of this as part of her vocal evolution. Ayu is my biggest inspiration right now in every aspect-the ultimate woman as far as role models go, she would be the ONE for me...

And I think it's brilliant that people who are inspired by Kuu feel that way, to be happy and such, cause that's the reason she made her image, to inspire people to be happy and healthy with themselves. I actually read about it in an interview.

All the bad people in the world...like super bad. Like hitler/stalin/nero/ivan/mengele bad.
They inspire me to be a better person. To make sure that before I die that I contribute something good to the world. I don't want to die a horrid waste of space
They inspire me to still go into the medical field or psychology so I can help people
Or to be a historian or history professor reallyzm to make sure peopl understand how important history is

Also the magnificent people.....including great philosophers and such
Continue to inspire me to reach that goal
And to continue education
When I see what people can do with schooling I can't help but want to learn more
They inspire me to be better in school

Also musicians inspire me. From ayu to yoyo ma to street musicians that play outside downtown

^Excellent. ^_^ It's brilliant to be able to take something positive and find inspiration from anything, cause there are a lot of wonderful (and not so) things out there, each different and unique in thier own way and we can learn something important from every one of them.

Just everything I do in life (music, drawing, etc.) inspires me to be the best at what I can do. Music-wise, It has to be the actual performing of the song (ala live). I just love when people who listen to your music shout out your name and scream out the top of their lungs for you. If that doesn't inspire you to work your ass off on that stage, I don't what would.

For lyrics mostly. I really get lots of inspiration from these. I can express myself so much better when I listen to these but I think that the one who inspires me most is indeed Koda Kumi. It used to be Ayu of course but not anymore because I felt that I wasn't the one I was supposed to be. Then I got obsessed with Kuu and realized I want to be like her more.

And yes, when something happens in my life, it inspires me to write more stuff. Usually then my songs are deeper and maybe even darker but that's just it. I just try to put my words down honestly. That's what I've learned from Ayu.

And now I forgot all the other stuff I was supposed to say. -.- I'll edit if I remember something.

this is the best thing I love about kuu~

her whole outlook and attitude is amazing...and there is never ever a sad moment when I'm listening to her or watching her.

She really is the only artist I can listen to being only happy, because her songs are just that way.

Everyone else deals with such heavy stuff.


Ayu however has very inspirational songs about not giving up and such...and even though they dont necessarily make me "happy" or are "fun"...they...are so powerful in their inspiration...and epic...as if...like when you're down, and you hear her songs, it's like at that moment, they change your life, and because they were playing, it's like, the soundtrack to your soul, and your life just...goes in a new direction, and you feel...reborn, and like you can do anything...

Hard to explain lol I think I said the same thing over and over.


Hikki also inspires me, along with Eiko Shimamiya, and Emi hinouchi, in their musical abilities...and I would love to be able to, know as much about music as they do...to be able to feel, and understand the balance between technicality, and why it's important when conveying a message.
