Hikari by Utada Hikaru. Yup, got the Hikki treatment, she should have a statue built in her honor for introducing so many people to J-Pop xDD
Ahhh, 90's J-Pop... those were the days *-* |

Every Heart - Boa
or it might have been that japanese power puff girls song.....it was so strange how on cartoon network they just randomely interchanged the english and japanese versions. But Yah. I think it might have been every heart...not sure. but it was definitely an inuyasha song. Maybe it was my will...or come...don't remember... or fukai mori.

wow, its so hard to remember, but the first songs i can remember are:
Utada Hikaru - Automatic (Johnny Vicious Remix) Blankey Jet City - Seaside Jet City Judy & Mary - Kujira 12 Gou Tomosaka Rie - Shoujo Robot Globe - Feel Like Dance i wish i remembered exactly how it happened. i know i found the Utada Hikaru remix because i was on napster downloading remixes by just typing in remixer names that i knew and then downloading all the remixes they had done. i think thats also how i came across Ayumi, with her thunderpuss, hex hector, and etc remixes.

I think it was a YUI song or Hikki's Passion (which sucked me into the Jpop world
still one of my all time favorites ) .. I was eleven back then so I can't remember very well XD I can't believe it's been five years already o_o As for an Asian song .. TVXQ's Balloons or Perhaps Love from the Goong OST *thinks hard* .. idk .. |

Just Communication by Two-Mix (I actually reheard it for the first time yesterday in seriously a decade) and the theme song from Sailor Moon. Then it was these amazing intro/ending songs from Witch Hunter Robin by Bana. However, like most people, Inuyasha is the one that catapulted me into the J-Pop world. And then I went into J-Rock, and nowadays back into J-Pop.

My first was Suteki da ne by Rikki somewhere in 2002-2003 I think. I didn't know much about japanese during that time. Then I heard Hikki's Hikari, and when my anime fandom began in 2004, I got lost into japanese music for good <3 I listened to anime songs though most of the time. My j-pop fandom officially began in 2005-2006 with Hikki as I have said before somewhere lol.
![]() And now I'm obsessing with K-pop. My first K-pop song was somewhere 2008-2009 I think, and the song was Tell me by Wonder Girls if I'm correct. I didn't care about it that much during that time but when I began listening to BoA on Christmas 2009, I got interested in korean music as well. So thanks to BoA that I found the amazeness of the K-pop

Ah I can't remember exactly which one it was, but I remember a friend send me a few Jpop songs in 2002
It was either Ayumi Hamasaki's I am... or Immature.. He also gave me a few Hitomi Shimatani songs including Papillon and Shanty ![]() And then started my love for Jpop and I discovered Nakashima Mika's STARS not long after that.

Same for me. It's on a Sailor Moon compilation released with the Anime here in Germany between 2000-2001.
And after that something from Gackt, cause he was super popular in a community I used to be at that time.
