Endless Sorrow differences?

Hi, I've always been a bit confused about this supposed difference between the different versions of Endless Sorrow (original mix--?)

What is the difference and between which ones? I've only had the album one---is the singles one different?

Thanks in advance!

The song was remixed in order to fit the album atmosphere, that's because the album version (Endless sorrow -gone with the wind ver.-) is supposed to be the "happy ver." and the single version (original mix) is supposed to be the "sad ver."

The "Original Mix" has a very dramatic instrumentation. Including the piano and dark guitar riffs with strings. The ~gone with the wind ver.~ is a more happy version and Ayu supposedly changed the lyrics a little bit (although I strangely never noticed this). This new version has a lighter instrumentation, and Ayu also resang it.

THe original version can easily be accessed through watching the video online allthough I would strongly recommend you to listen to it in HQ (CD q). It's much more intense and passionate than the album version, personally I think it's one of her most emotional songs ever. This is carried thorugh on every level of the song, her voice, the lyrics and especially the instrumentation which is absolutely amazing. It's probably one of the best rock ballads/numbers I've ever heard. And the PV is simply awesome as well!

In the single version the very last chorus goes:

kimi ni moshi tsubasa ga
nokosaretenakute mo
boku ni moshi tsubasa ga
hitotsu demo nokotte iru nara
isshoni...isshoni...

In the album version, it goes:

kimi ni moshi tsubasa ga
nokosaretenakute mo
boku ni mada tsubasa ga
hitotsu dake nokotte iru kara
isshoni...isshoni...

It's a VERY subtle change but it makes the album version simply more optimistic. They both say basically "If you don't have any wings left, well I have one wing so together..." and then there's no verb... we don't know what they do together. So in the album version the implication is that with one wing, she can carry the person she's singing to. In the single version, the implication is that they can at least fall down together since one wing can't possibly carry two people.
