What's wrong with that? I find it faaaar better than a thread being made everytime someone hates something.

I also really adore VR for a lot of the reasons people mentioned; the chorus is powerful, the melody is nice, the arrangement is great, her vocals just hit you right at the core and the lyrics are incredible, not to mention that I loved the PV to bits and found it a really great concept, also mixing a lovely but action-filled PV with a ballad like this kept things really interesting.

I love Virgin Road. I've been listening to it a lot lately. I wish I could ask Ayu what she meant with certain parts of the lyrics but I'll never know~

I'm gonna go make one for Honey, because it's totally relevant.

I agree, VR is definitelly one of the best ballads she ever did

as for the thread, there's a "songs discussion" section on the other forum I tend to visit, maybe this place needs one too, so people could disscus every song separatelly at least it works there for people

"i'll be greatful for whatever will happen hereafter
thank You forever"

i believe virgin road is a fantastic song.

here's how i intepretate it:
the last song that is always sung or played (as an instrumental) at hamasaki ayumi's concerts is a thank you song.
this song is called who...

i believe hamasaki ayumi thanks her true love last.
"i pray this voice forever reaches You."

the wording of "virgin road" is similar to "who... "

i believe the song "m" is about her true love.
note that her true love is not "maria" !

hamasaki ayumi really identifies with maria, because she believes they both have the same true love.

this is why i believe virgin road is called "virgin road"

if you read a lot about history,

perhaps you'll see why i keep on saying hamasaki ayumi's songs are the most beautiful modern songs in the world today.
perhaps you'll understand why i think hamasaki ayumi can be considered the "jehanne d'arc of the 21st century" (free & easy)
perhaps you'll realise why all her songs have essentially the same meaning,
perhaps you'll understand why so many people love her songs.
perhaps you'll understand the meaning behind the song played before bold & delicious in "cdl 2005-2006".

perhaps you'll understand hamasaki ayumi's secret.

in all of recorded history, the woman i respect the most is maria.
in the last 1000 years, the person i respect the most is jehanne d'arc.
in the last 100 years, the person i respect the most is hamasaki ayumi

because hamasaki ayumi carries with her a truly beautiful message,
it is a message that heals decades of hatred between so many countries,
chinese, japanese, koreans, and so many people across asia and around the world all forget about ww2 when they hear her message.

you are free to choose to believe this message.
you are free to choose to believe her message.

virgin road has the same meaning as her other songs, i feel.

Love Is Peace (a song is born)
Love Is Gracious And Righteous (endless sorrow)
Love Is Light (depend on you)
Love Is There (daybreak)
Love Is Full Of Compassion (forgiveness)
...
"free & easy"
"everlasting dream"

Light has come into the world (i believe this is what "a song is born" is about)

if you get the chance, watch the video clip of endless sorrow.
i believe hamasaki ayumi's secret is that she believes she's a messenger, like jehanne.
she carries with her a truly beautiful message.

i try my best, but i make many mistakes and can't really describe this message perfectly,
nor can i describe the meaning of "virgin road" perfectly.

she says this as well: "sometimes there's a certain truth that you can't explain or communicate to others"

do you hear her message?

I think ComatoseBunnySnatcher is just expressing his/her happiness about being a renewed Ayu fan because of Virgin Road....they're not just saying 'Hey everyone I like this song!' At least, that's what I gathered from reading the first post .
His

Yes, it was definetly renewed. After Rule/Sparkle I had NO faith in ayu's music or voice. I followed her....but because i was more curious about her personal life lol. Moon had to start growing on me, but this song... its just perfection.

i need to look up the lyrics!
