seriously after listening to the songs so many rounds, i find myself disliking [do it again] more and more... the repetive english lines irritates me.

i wish ayu don't just put english there because she wants to put english, it's just out of place. stick with all the japanese words.
Like what deli said, if we are happy watching a panda doing it's thing, i don't like having the panda waving at me just because it know that i'm watching it. (>_<)
please ayu, i know you love everyone, but please don't trying to please us by putting some english, it feels weird.. i thought my nightmare with RAINBOW album was over, but no.... i almost scream when i kept hearing the neverending 'dance dance dance...sing sing sing....'

on the other hand, i like the other songs.
Love songs and sending mail are love at first sight, while Like a doll and November give me the feel that they will grow on me.
While Thank U is just okay, if only there aren't sooooo many 'lalalalala'

and of coz, i already love the singles tracks, so i have zero complaints about them.
Except that SDW live version feels different, i remember she sung the last part in acapella when i was there???

overall, i really like this album.
8/10, minus 2 points because of 'do it again', so ayu, please don't do it again!

Not dissing your opinion or anything but I just had to add my thoughts on this:

What I normally see in J-pop is artists adding random Engrish words to their songs and titles no matter if they make sense or not, just for the sake of sounding cool. I have never associated this trend with Ayu. Just about every time there's an English lyric in her song like in Heartplace, Like a doll, or Microphone, it's an important phrase, something meaningful that adds power and depth to her songs. Yes, the words probably would have the same effect in Japanese but they probably didn't sound right to her ears. You can argue about EneRgize but that wasn't meant to a serious song anyway. If she made this into a habit then maybe you'd have a point but the majority of her songs are still in total Japanese because of course, she's said that's the language she best expresses herself in. So sorry, I cannot believe she just puts "random" English words just for the sake of it or to please anybody else. When she decides to use English, I firmly believe it's because she feels those particular lines needed to be to get her point across.

Btw, I really don't understand what's the problem with the Ayu having English in her songs when the girl barely has a handful of song titles in Japanese? Can someone explain that to me?

I think what seperates ayu from other jpop artists is the fact that she can speak english pretty well.

But the difference is, that English is Hikki's native language and Crystal Kay as well as BENI (I don't know for Jamosa) have one parent who's native language is Englisch and Ayu had to learn on her own.

So um...OK, the CD+DVD first press all come with the same alternate cover, right?
So, where's the other alternate cover? Somewhere in the CD only? I haven't taken the plastic off my CD only, so I'm not sure...lol

The CD+DVD covers are random between two different covers. One has a full body shot of Ayu and her legs, and the other is of a semi side-profile of her face.

I doubt she did it for overseas fans, but rather because sing sing sing / dance dance dance do it again didn't sound right in Japanese.

^ I agree... I don't think Ayu sits around and thinks how her lyrics can be appealing to English-speakers. She most likely does it because she wants to.

Imagine it was like...

odoru odoru odoru mata yarou
odoru odoru odoru mata yarou
odoru odoru odoru mata yarou

utau utau utau mata yarou
utau utau utau mata yarou
utau utau utau mata yarou

Oh dear, haha. It's interesting to note that a campaign ran on Japanese subways with a few posters that said "Please, do it again."

Yaay mine arrived at tenso~ But I'll wait for TA magazine to arrive as well, then I can ship it all together and save some cash. So guess I won't hear the full album till Jan.
