For anyone who is confused, Ayu is not pregnant and has not recently been (as far as everyone knows haha.) There are a lot of sarcastic/facetious comments going around and people aren't being serious.

And for the record, I don't think she's had any procedure done. I think it's definitely make-up and photoshop.

I'm sorry but as soon as I read the thread title, I started dying of laughter. Ayu's lips have always been largely proportioned to her face imo. Always. And implying that she's losing her identity sounds down right incongruous. Then this same "accusation" applies to every last damn musician in the industry regardless of origin. Hell, I might as well be guilty.

And Ayu's lips have been big for a long time now...unfortunately. Personally, I really don't like them, but I guess it's whatever floats her boat, darn it, and if she likes it, no one's going to change that!

if ya'll look some magazines from 2002 era, her lips look as big as these days. it's the power of make up and photoshop duh

Though make-up only works "wonder" as long as there is a decent distance between the one, that looks at a person and the one, that wears it. Close-up views by daylight make any make-up lose its magic, so I wouldn't take that make-up-thingy about her lips too serious, as we've seen Ayu's face on many close-up photos from LA recently, and she seemed to wear barely any make-up, still her lips looked good. So whether its nature beauty or plastic surgery, I doubt make-up would do this to her.

You can see some concealer around her nose here, that's probably all, except of the eye n lip makeup:

^you're right, she must not have worn much makeup while she was in LA. her skin still looks great though. still, there are many lip plumping lipsticks and lip glosses that she could be using too. plus, outlining outside of the natural lips and stuff can give that same effect in photoshoots. i do not think Ayu would ever lie to us about something so trivial though.

lol it's seriously amazing how much smaller her eyes look without make-up. she doesn't even look asian to me with eye make-up but once it's off she does.

as someone else said......they sell lip gloss plumpers that are actually designed to make your lips look swollen. i think she's using them a little too much these days. lol sometimes they look huge and other times they look completely normal, so i highly doubt she's had any kind of alterations done.

Whenever someone has a close up of Ayu, her skin looks waxy to me sometimes. Maybe just the lighting?

And her eyes DO look smaller. But maybe in that GIF only, because I think her eyes are naturally large anyways.

Ayu has been wearing tons of makeup in the last few years and in a lot of the LA photos I was actually shocked at how much makeup she was wearing in her recording/down time, but then I figured she did that cause she knew she had pictures to take. Also in that picture you posted, I can see her eye makeup, concealer, foundation, blush, highlighter, lipstick and lip gloss...
I don't think she had her lips plumped because their shape changes often, but if she did I really don't mind it as I love a full lip.

I'm not so sure it's collagen. She looks pretty normal in regular in some stuff. There's also some pretty amazing limp plumpers that you can apply that aren't permanent.

Ugh, she's curling her top lip...

Looking back on some old images it's obvious that she's always had quite big lips. Its just a matter of how she uses them. She pouts a lot these days which doesn't help. But as I said before lip gloss and a plumber work miracles!

I personally don't think she's had any cosmetic surgery on her lips. With makeup these days, you can make your eyes and lips look a certain size and even use it to contour features on your face without getting any work done. She just has a great makeup artist who can make her features look however she wants them to.
