dude that sucks... because that's 1/4 of the remixes hahah

i love house music, i find it much more dance-able than trance or eurobeat (which are much faster in tempo). however i very much love trance for anytime-listening on my ipod.

i wish she would have re-recorded the vocals.
but that would probably take too much time and effort, and some of those higher notes she could easily sing when she was younger are probably really hard for her to hit now.

or something

I feel like house has no climax - it's all just beats and usually lacking a good melody.

That's the exact same statement my boyfriend always gives, whenever I mention house music. He too -as I think you are?- is a vocal trance enthusiast I think there's a connection there! Vocal trance, to me, is just filled with climaxes. They have small buildups, with lots of overkills (overkill here, not being a bad thing) on top of each other almost.

I love house music for its more subtle emotional qualities, like some dubstep.

about the voyage remix:
Dj turbo is not my favorite dj, anyway, i think his remix is fine..like the rest of his ayu remixes.
but i have more expectation about the north american house remixers

Yeah I think re-records are overrated now. I really didn't like any of the 10th Anniversary re-record vocals (especially Who... - what a God-awful letdown). Her voice just does not suit them anymore - but I still would like a re-recording for evolution (softer acoustic version and raw rock version).

Who... and TO BE are actually the only 10th anniversary ones I like (and prefer to the originals) but I remember how much everyone hated all the 10th anniversary versions because of the rerecorded vocals lol. most fans of the original songs feel like she ruins her classics when she rerecords them (unless it's A SONG FOR XX), so I really don't think rerecording all these songs would be a good idea.

Well the re-recorded vocal versions that appeared on A BEST were AMAZING! I love those ones, especially A Song For XX and Depend on you. Also the A Song For XX on A BALLADS was great too.

I'm guessing heart as in trance music touches your heart. Builds tension in your chest, a lot more emotional. House for the soul I would say is more of a "feel good" vibe - not an emotion just a vibe. Kinda just makes you want to move a little bit - doesn't lift you up. Although house doesn't make me feel good at all. Lol.

^OMG, to each there own but how ghetto and old-school. If anything house is monotonous - trance is usually evolving and building with a changing melody and composition. This song is just like the same part on loop, lol.

the house music at the same time give you the chance to experiment with a lot of different rythms... but trance is always the same thing,..there is no evolution...when i'm listen trance is like listen robert miles one over again.

I'm looking forward to the acoustic orchestras. I LOVE ACOUSTIC ORCHESTRA VERSIONS!!! Too bad they did NOT put JEWEL - hopefully sooner or later JEWEL can finally be released in an orchestra version...

I did not realize it but, you're right, she hasn't released an acoustic orchestral of JEWEL... and I think that could be so beautiful too. I think she should release a new A BALLADS

But, I think she is only putting the 50 single hits on this ayu-mi-x. so it makes sense JEWEL is not on it.

^In other words. she's a complete lazy ass that doesn't feel like re-recording all the songs. I wouldn't want to either. that's 50 singles worth of songs.

it'd be a wasted effort too. it'd just piss off a lot of the fans who prefer her vocals in the original songs.

I liked Depend on you's 10th anniversary version
The music, especially at the end (guitar) is really great aha...

But yeah, I don't see the necessity of re-recording all the tracks.
