Well, now that I listened the song 3 or 4 times, I agree when you say it's Jpop ballad, not an Ayu ballad. Maybe it's a good song, but it could have been any other Jpop singer's song.

Not bad, but not as ayuish as we wanted.

PD: I loved DREAM ON, so I want to listen ANother song!!! I think Urata Naoya is not that bad...

I never thought Ayu and JUNO's voices could work so good together. Ayu should take more vocal lessons imo, because her voice is great on Why...
I agree with some of you though. Why.. sounds a bit too generic but in a strange way for me. I mean, it's one of those generic songs that you like to listen to. Although they're not breathtaking or experimental.
Actually I'm looking forward the HQ version, because Why... it's really interesting.

I think progress and BRILLANTE are probably the only 'adventurous' tracks on the mini album, but that's usually how the track breakdown is lately. I'm fine with that though, lol.

Do we even know for sure it will be this lenght? The first version of MOON we got was like 2 mins shorter than the actual song, too. Though Why... does seem complete.

agreed. I love her voice in Why...! It's so soothing. It's not too high, not too low, no strained moments. it's perfect imo.

That is because it was the live version from the concert and she didn't sing the whole song at the time, it was the same length it would be if she'd perform it on TV. Why... has leaked in full so it's pretty much as long as it will get

I honestly don't mind it sounding so generic, cause that's one of the reasons why i love Jpop.. it's sound in general.
It's sort of a way for me to escape Western music.

Besides, all songs can't be original.. and if the formular works, then i don't see a reason not to follow it once in a while.
