Album has nice track listing. I wonder if FANTASY will be the Every Boy Every Girl of this album, somehow I see that song as one but she may surprise me and it's a ballad. x3

I'm so sad that sweet sweet isn't on the album though. I totally love that song. :<

Her new single is so random. All the songs are hella predictable, and she has done similar/better songs 847;67574849 times before. She needs to reinvent herself, try somwthing new, reach new limits

Have you listened to the songs "Only One" or "Grab Bag"? Those are pretty experimental for Kana. ^_^

EDIT: Is anyone interested in doing the new thread soon? It might be a nice idea if people put their hands up, someone who hasn't has a shot at it yet. I'm no good at making new threads so I don't want to do it, but if someone else does then they can let us know? What do people think?

Found out today about the new album, it's made my day

I expected her last album to sell more (not that I was disappointed with sales), I wonder if this album will sell more? Watashitachi must be in the top 3 for digital sales so far this year, and Sakura I Love You was #4 in the half year update, and Go For It was #1 last week.

I highly doubt it'll sell more, maybe it'll sell as much, if not less.
I guess it'll mainly depends on the title track, and promotion

She needs to make another Motto... The melody of that song is amazing

^yeah right, coz that's brand new in her standards LMAO...

Kana is actually one of the few JAPANESE artist who actually tries different things with each release. Some song sound alike probably because she likes the genre herself. Of course it'll never be totally new, but GO FOR IT!! for example, was quite challenging for her as she never actually released a song like this as a single before. You may like it, you may not, but really, what's the big deal? it's not like you were planning on buying her music, am I right? I didn't like it, I didn't buy it, it's as simple as that. But I'll give it to her that she at least tried something different, and not another up tempo ballad about friendship or her past lover.

It was not my intention to sound rude or anything, I'm just plain sick of people complaining about an artist (not necessary Kana) not renewing herself/himself, when it's what she/he's been trying to do.. Of course there will be times when songs sound alike, she has a fanbase to maintain afterall, and she has to appeal to them too

I do think she's been reinventing herself, but still having enough songs that sound like "typical Kana" to satisfy the people who don't want to see her completely change. Considering her singles from 2011 and 2012: Esperanza, Distance, and SAKURA, I love you? were all pretty different for her, and I loved them all, but the other singles were all pretty typical Kana for sure (not that they were bad songs...just a tad uninspired imo).

As for GO FOR IT!!, it's been done before with very similar-sounding album tracks, although a song like that has never been released as a single, and it's definitely a better song than Clap Clap!! if you ask me (although that one's not bad either). I think it's good she does seem to be branching out more, but is still sticking with doing a lot of songs that likely drew in most of her fans (from around the time of to LOVE). I'm all in favor of more experimentation though, but I'm completely satisfied with what she's doing at the moment.

Deffinetly she reinvented herself commercially, but musically she has tons of songs like GO FOR IT!! She is still one of the best singers of the jpop scene. Im just afraid i'll get tired of her (which has still not happened)

oh don't get me wrong here, she's still one of the best seller as a solo female artist fo sure! But I don't expect it to sell as much as her past albums based on the popularity of her singles so far, she didn't have a true "hit" like some of her other singles had (digitally speaking obviously). At least, not recently, and that's what counts in people's mind

It'll probably be close to Thank You, Love in terms of sales I think.

But she'll get my support anyways, and one more copy sold

I also like the song itself very much. I think I just wait for the release and then overplay Sakura, I Love You + its b-sides together. <3
