My heart exploded with feels.
This album is structured so perfectly. The tracks in the beginning middle and end are all perfectly placed. I won't go into the details of what I think, but needless to say almost all the tracks are flawless. NaNaNa was a little disappointing in that I loved all of Ayu's parts a lot, but the guy's parts just didn't sit well with me they felt a little too forced/trying to hard. Shake It<3 is growing on me I guess because I really didn't like it at first. The interludes are actually great, they sound good, have substance, and are decent lengths. From call to Tell me why is solid gold. |

Wow everyone seems like had download the album from iTunes Plus (or that leak download). Many good review as I see back then on the older previous post. So tempting...especially that Return Road which one member said it was like M, rocking ballad song, so tempting...

i also really like the structure. that's been one of my major frustrations with some ayu albums, is that there doesn't seem to be much flow to some or they sort of just all slap together. NEXT LEVEL and Rock 'n Roll Circus are guilty of this the most, IMO. Party Queen is pretty solid as far as structure goes, though. I originally didn't mind the guy vocals in NaNaNa too much. Listening to them again I find it cheesy but it sort of fits the song, too, if it's continuing the tabloid vapidness from PQ. PQ - NaNaNa - Shake It<3 are like the tabloid trilogy, IMO. There is a deeper element to them, IMO, but on the surface they seem like fluff. Once those clear out of the way the album evolves into something darker, even if it has to plod through "call" (generic) and "Letter" (less generic lol). "reminds me" is really where that deeper element takes off and continues on basically 'til the end. I think the album is bookmarked nicely by the tabloid trilogy in the beginning and the next LOVE/Eyes, Smoke, Magic, which have a heavily theatrical slant to them, like a performance. Kind of like the "ads" in a magazine. Serenade and hbya are nice detractors from that.

I'm liking NaNaNa... but I feel Timmy has too much of a presence in the song...
I thought I said it before but I couldn't find it.. I feel that NaNaNa is a song by Timmy and feat. Ayumi |

but I don't mind that, there is more Ayu I think, and I like his "rap". The song is almost perfect beside the annoying autotune. |

I'm just torturing myself reading all your positive reactions to the album... I won't be listening to the full album for at least another two weeks, when I get it in the mail. Until then I have to sit here shaking with temptation while listening to nothing but HBYA...

I just ****ing died. That was great.
And idk wth, but NaNaNa felt more to me like a koda song where she features a rapper. If it was Timmy feat. Ayu, um, it'd be like Eminem feat. Dido or something. Exaggerations can die now, thanks.

The NaNaNa PV is the most akward party I have seen. They are soooo dreary.
I am sorry Ayu, but there is NO power in this video. It's just a cool camera effect and big Timmy. And the song fits like they have copy and paste some other song, cause IT doesn't fit to video. |

i haven't checked the threads lately, so i was so shocked to see the covers.
and the covers are shocking! they are really bad. they do not fit with party queen theme, not glamorous, the flash makes the photo so harsh. and the CD+2DVD cover looks more like a porn video cover. whoever thought these photos are good for album covers? actually the album and single covers have gone progressively downhill from rock and roll circus. i wish the artistic directors for the covers of voyage, rainbow and dearest would come back to work for ayu. |

If there's a streaming Nanana pv or a dwnld that's not in parts or in a crazy format, I'd love to see that!

NaNaNa is so not deserving of such a lackluster video..
The camera effect got boring quick and Timmy's apperance was just awkward most of the time.. Only positive thing i can say is that she looked amazing, but that's all.
