Yup. Sucks for Mannie. I think that's why he's taken so long to say anything. Its hard to imagine that he hasn't heard about this yet, if Ayu has already replied. He may be talking to his agents and stuff about what to do. He does have an image to maintain, with all the Ayu fans watching his every move.

Her response was rather rude, it sounded like something a smart highschool bully would say, as was what was posted on Mannie's account, but I seriously doubt Mannie posted that himself. His grammar is better and he hasn't said anything like that before.

ahha really? For me, I thought she was firm and to the point.

I honestly think her response was anything but rude. Her answer was simple and to the point, but not rude in any way.

Personally I think both parties should ignored it.
Mannie shouldn't say anything back because what ever he says people are going to bash him.
What ayumi said was harsh and some can take it as rude, but its a personal thing.

I agree with emi, she shouldn't have responded at all. And she DID insult him by saying it tells something about his character. She didn't make it obvious, but it's there and Ayumi knows exactly how to use words effectively to subtly reveal just what she is saying.
And to add to that it even seems unlikely that he even wrote that himself and I doubt Ayumi is still in enough contact to him to know if he wrote it either(but even if she is and he did write it himself, still not a very classy response)

she knows about her fanbase and some responsability she holds. if she left it un-commented fans would get angry, as much as they are now when she simply blocked any rumours and **** from this dude

Considering that she didn't even tweet @ him, this is all mare speculation. It doesn't matter really, mostly because the damage has pretty much been done already.

She SHOULD have responded. She shouldn't respond to things like the whole ting with Mannie's friend and such, and rightfully she didn't (I am SURE she read tweets about the incidents) But when she is accused of something as big as not actually being divorced, she owes it to her fans to give some part of the truth. And she did it in a professional way. She didn't mention the incident. She didn't refer to Mannie. She simply said to not watse time on rumours. It was professional and needed.

I just think her response was rather redundant. It wasn't needed. It didn't particularly say anything. Don't believe the rumours? Uhm... duh. That part about character judging, while something we'd all say, is a touch unprofessional.

I guess the tweet was aimed at Japanese fans who would hear about his comment through the media and their blowing it out of proportion, while we saw the Tweet by reading it? Either way, she didn't need to respond.

But as with any rumour, there has to be something to be blown out of proportion. If somebody just makes it up, nobody tends to believe it. As with everything to do with the marriage, I'd put money on there being more to this than meets the eye.

I think people would have been more skeptical of her if she didn't say anything... and before when people saw Mannie's tweet and not ayu's response people wanted answers cause they were confused. If someone was accussing or saying something that made me look untrustworthy or fake, of course I would put in my 2 cents.
