I'm sorry, maybe it's me, but I don't see any reason for her 'fans' to leave her or stop liking her/follow her career. She's not doing anything wrong, she's just living her life, she's 34, she's not a little girl anymore. What's wrong about being in a relationship? It didn't work out with Mannie, should she be single forever? Now everyone's judging cause she's with Maro, but well, she seems happy, doesn't she? Idk, I don't think she's being scandalous. But this is just my opinion. I hope people keep buying and she finds her way back on top.

No one is complaining that she's in love.

They're complaining that it seems like a show, that he's always around in the music videos, on the album covers, etc. =/

I agree , there's nothing wrong for ayumi to fall in love despite failed relationships she had before

But when she was with Nagase , you don't see him overshadowing if not appearing in her PVs & all that , unlike what happened for Mannie & now Maro

Isn't it a bit too of a coincidence ?

Love songs - Mannie appeared in 3 PVs

& now in again - Maro appeared in 2 PVs & includes being on the covers (he's blocked but despite this , you still can see him subtly)

That story is getting old. I understand people are hurt and all, even though I can't understand them I can see where the frustration is coming from. Live, let live & get over it.

People are still over reacting, they need to get over it and fast.

I'm glad is was at 15 today and 10K last week. nice.
I knew this would have no problem hitting 50K... some people... .
anyways...
Next will see it certified.

You never know
It may not hit 50k
Ayu could drop faster than a fat kid off of the Eiffel Tower.
Lets hope it doesn't

I'm so glad it will most likely achieve 50K.

I can't help but think that if this album had been promoted differently it could have been the beginning of a comeback. Even if it was a very, very petite beginning, at least it would be one.

Dunno why people are still blaming these sales on her supposed "scandal." It's not like being in a relationship (she's in her 30's for godssake) has all of a sudden made her a public disgrace. She was even married to that Austrian model (???pornstar???) for a while and nothing drastic like this happened to her sales. Perhaps the fans have just run out of money to throw at this (pretty pointless) unforgiving onslaught of "mini-releases." Even though the music is the most amazing she's had in years, it's pretty obvious; she and avex are just milkin' the fans and I believe they've just discovered the limit.

I'm sorry, but I find it kinda ironic that you complain about Ayumi/avex milking the fans yet you have an AKB48 signature. AKB48 is living proof that milking fans to crazy amounts for stupid reasons does work.
This may be partly affected by the high price considering the low amount of songs, but that can't be the only aspect. Especially when again has more new material than LOVE yet sells much worse and the most successful group in Japan right now is the one with the most insane milking strategies on the entire market.

I feel that 15th anniversary would have been the perfect premise for Ayu to make a comeback but she and Avex don't seem to be doing it right. Take Namie for example. Fans want to see her pretty, hot and dancing so that's what she consistently gives them. I think Ayu at the height of her popularity was seen as very cool, independent and regal almost but she sort of smashed that self-image with mannie, timmy and maro. Now she seems like a silly giggling teenager playing with the boys and it doesn't help that she's 34. I think people stopped appreciating this change in her professional image.

mmm yes that could very well be it >.< I just feel that I could have done a 100% better job at marketing Ayu instead of her professional team which is sad... =_=
