I haven't been overly impressed with anything she's released either. I just can't bring myself to listen to her new music after a few listens. 'Higher', 'Hot Girls -club remix-', 'Alive', and 'Ballerina' are the only songs that's she's released in the past 4yrs that I actually like.

I agree. However for me, I really like most of Uncontrolled (minus Hot Girls). It's everything since Feel and a couple of those singles before & after it(including the digital ones) that's just where I stand on the disappointed level.

We're definitely getting some sort of album release next year. Especially since she tours every damn year. I think we're getting a 'BEST' album.

Namie ballads don't tend to excite me that much, but this sounds really pretty and... actually J-popish, for once. That and the scarcity of winter ballads this year makes me think I'm going to quite like this!

While i do love Namie's recent foray into english it's nice to hear her singing in her own language again, her ballads always sound better in Japanese. Let Me Let You Go and Beautiful suffered from really cheesy engrish, so this is really refreshing.

I don't even mind that it's released in late Winter/February, that's when it's the coldest here in Denmark haha.

Ahh makes sense. I think the single will be released around the movie's release.

I'm liking how it sounds! Back to the J-Pop sounds it seems. I'm getting a little bit of a Kana Nishino vibe from it too
