One problem was the delay. Before, we'd gotten post-album remix CDs much faster after the album's initial release, so the "buzz" from the album itself was still relatively high. With ayu-mi-xes 1 though 4, we got the remix albums five months MAX after the album, so the album still felt relevant... with RMX WORKS, it was twice that amount of time.

Also, after the "best of" format of ayu-mi-x 4+selection and the fact that all Ayu's legendarily remix-packed maxi singles dropped off around that same time, we emotionally said goodbye to remixes. We were pretty much sure remixes were now permanently a thing of the past, so there wasn't much excitement or buildup for a new remix album, especially when it didn't come out right after the album. When it DID get released it was like "Oh, I guess this is happening."

Janet Jackson's 'All Nite (Don't Stop)' (2004) sounds a lot like Ayu's 'flower garden "BACK BEAT MIX"' off of ayu-mi-x 4 + selection Non Stop Mega Mix version (2002). Specifically around 2:11 onwards during the 'flower garden' mix and the intro during 'All Nite.'

Is this a sample or something? If so, can someone tell me the name of the song sampled?

Tomomi Itano accused of “waging war” with Ayu, responds on Twitter

Tokyo Sports published an article on the 8th alleging that ex-AKB48 member Tomomi Itano (23) intended to “wage war” against singer Ayumi Hamasaki (35) after dropping her debut album S×W×A×G on the same day as the veteran pop star’s Colours.

“Hamasaki’s album was released the same day as Itano’s, but their respective first-day sales placed Itano in 6th and Hamasaki in 5th [on the Oricon chart], a painful defeat,” an unnamed entertainment industry official claimed in the piece. “When Itano got the news, she wailed, ‘I lost to Ayu! This is awful!’” The same anonymous source added that Itano then went on to message past and current AKB48 members as well as staff, declaring that she would “surpass” Hamasaki.

Itano addressed the rumors on Twitter alongside a screenshot from her phone of the article:

My Colours CD+DVD (Japan ver.) is in a normal jewel case, not the kind like my other CD+DVD albums, with the 2 different pronged thick cases held together. Is this how CD+DVD's are now being packaged or is my version weird??

The CD+DVD cases have been that way since "LOVE", I believe. I know some people don't like it, but I personally don't mind, it's much easier to handle the case this way, and much easier to replace as well.
