It's practically the most accurate way we can determine what Ayu's sales will be on a release these days. We pretty much wait for Koda's numbers and then expect ~10% less for Ayu. The only thing Koda hasn't outsold Ayu on consistently is singles.

Pretty good sales in the end. I think it will manage to get to 8k, if we add the digital sales as well the number rises up a lot, I think. 10k is sure

Because nobody cares about digital sales it's just 16% of total music market (CDs+digital)

You can always check RIAJ's yearly books to learn how japanese digital market sucks

Quick question.. From what little I follow charts and rankings these days it seems to me Ayu is more successful than Kuu is digitally. True or no?

People in Japan are tired of ayu classical and acoustic orchestra songs, maybe?.
But it's not a bad present for valentine.
Maybe A LOVE compilation with all the love songs of ayu + DVD will be a better idea xD who knows...
