alan recently shot a new MV with singer Hacken Lee for their upcoming collaboration 最完美的分手 The Most Perfect Breakup !
This song will be featured in Hacken Lee's new Mandarin album whose release is scheduled for this year.

Last night alan went to Japan, she met with former avex colleagues she hasn't seen in a long time: her former agent, someone from A&R and someone from marketing.
She ended her message by saying that they were reminiscing... the future ?!
Is she trolling or hinting at something ?

No idea to be honest.

In my opinion, she's saying that because she had to scrap her Tibetan album for some reason. She released a single last year, announced her Tibetan album, recorded lots of songs, but nothing came out of it... (except for a few Mandarin singles for movies and dramas)

Since she's producing herself, and the fact that she's not "big" in China, I guess she has to do some sacrifices in order to keep releasing music

I'm really sad that her Tibetan album was never released. It looked like they got really far into the production process with it as well, and I was really looking forward to it...
I'm really happy she's still recording music and I hope they find a way to release it one day, even if it's just leaked snippets

I do think it's a real shame that alan never found huge success in any of the countries she's debuted in. Her voice is phenomonal and her style was always unique and eye-catching. It'll always feel unfair to me.
