The only thing that will appeal devout Yamapi fans to buy YAMA-P is for the studio treatment of Dreamer (and the remix of the song)

Aside from that , since I bought all of his solo material (be it when Yamapi was under Johnny's Entertainment and now him under Warner) , I don't see any incentive to buy it

I will just download Dreamer & I doubt there will be any (new) photos inside YAMA-P either :x

Aramajapan - Yamashita Tomohisa to release best album "YAMA-P"

Yamashita Tomohisa will be releasing his first best album titled “YAMA-P” on January 27. The album will include carefully selected singles and representative songs from the start of his solo activities in 2012.

The album features a hidden song that fans have yearned to be released, titled “Dreamer”, which will be recorded in a CD for the first time. “Dreamer” is a self-covered work, which Yamashita himself wrote the lyrics and Kameda Seiji arranged. To represent the positive lyrics of – believing in tomorrow to advance for the future – the music video was shot in the secluded regions of Arizona.

“Dreamer” will be used as the ending theme song for the anime “Itoshi no Muco”. The song will began airing with the anime’s 14th episode, which airs this Saturday.

Limited Edition A includes a collection of music videos while Limited Edition B includes “Dreamer” -banvox Remix-. The Dreamer PV and making DVD with photobook will only be available by lottery to 3000 fans.

Tokyohive - Yamashita Tomohisa to release his 1st best-of album

Yamashita Tomohisa's first best-of album entitled "YAMA-P" will be released on January 27.

The upcoming album will contain his previous singles "Ai, Texas", "LOVE CHASE", "Ke Sera Sera", and "SUMMER NUDE '13" as well as other songs from his albums.

Moreover, it will also include his self-cover version of the fan favorite "Dreamer", which has never been released before. The lyrics of "Dreamer" were written by Yamashita himself, and it was arranged by Kameda Seiji. Apparently, the music video was shot in an unexplored region in Arizona in order to express the worldview of the song.

The MV will be included in a not-for-sale special DVD that comes with a photo booklet, and only 3,000 people chosen by those who purchase the album will be able to get it.

There will be a limited edition A and B and a standard edition. Limited edition A will come with a DVD containing 8 music videos, while limited edition B will have "Dreamer" remix version by banvox.

Yamapi's best album is probably to fulfil a contract that Warner Music put in

I do hope that after this's released , he will switch back to Johnny's Entertainment as Warner Music has been lousy in marketing Yamapi from the very beginning

In a way it's a waste cos some of the material Yamapi has released under Warner has been some of his best , such as A NUDE , YOU and Asobi
