LOVE BEBOP is out! Opinions? I like it a lot! It's way more upbeat than NEW MORNING, thank god, all the new tracks are good (Butterfely Butterfly and LOVE BEBOP are a bit noisy, but I still like them. Oh Lovely Day has a great arrangement! Too bad the melody isn't quite as good. FREEDOM is solid gold though!), and the tracklist works really well (I like Orphans no Namida and Hana more on the album than on their own, so good job, LOVE BEBOP!). The LOVE BEBOP remix is trash though.
Also, while listening to the album I was reminded of how GOOD many of the single songs are. Shiroi Kisetsu is so great, why did I not mark it down as a five-star song way back? Nagareboshi has solidified its place as my favourite ballad from her in recent memory. And Ashita wa motto suki ni naru is still my favourite song from this era.
LOVE BEBOP was #4 on Oricon on its first day. Good going, MISIA!
