^Her CDLs tend to introduce the winter singles only as new songs... Usually it's a mix of the latest winter single, songs performed during the past tour and fan favorites + obscure tracks.
During tours she performs between 60% and 90% of the newer album (with some exceptions like AT07, AT08, AT11 and AT13 where she performed almost nothing or nothing from the album and AT09 where she performed every track of the album, even interludes. She still performed every song on FIVE during AT11). The only CDL she actually performed a massive number of newer tracks before she started focusing tours on new releases (at03-04) from an album was CDL11-12, and that's because she actually performed the tour she later axed because of the tsunami disaster. Even AT15 has 6 of 11 A One tracks on it. 7 if we cound A Bell. AT15: 6/11 A One songs (+Step by Step): 7 new songs total PSC: 8/10 Colours songs 8 new songs total AT13: 1/13 LOVE again songs (+ Tell All) It was 2, but SAKURA was axed because her friend she wrote the song to passed away. 2 new songs total AT12: 8/11 Party Queen songs (+Happening Here, 2 LOVE tracks, One Night Carnival) It was 9 songs but one was axed due to her divorce.: 12 new songs total AT11: 1/12 Love songs song, 5/5 FIVE songs. During AT11-12, 5/12 Love songs songs: 6 new songs total AT10: 7/13 RnRC songs (+ Moon, Seven Days War and the whole L single): 11 new songs total AT09: 10/10 NEXT LEVEL songs (+ the whole S/S single): 12 new songs total AT08: 5/10 GUILTY songs... 6/10 if you count Mirrorcle World.: 6 new songs total AT07: 4/11 Secret songs (+Part of Me) 5 new songs total AT06: 11/14 (miss)understood songs (+the whole Startin'/Born to be single): 14 new songs total AT05: 11/14 MY STORY songs 13 new songs total AT03-04: 6/8 Memorial Address songs (+ Moments): 7 new songs total Her usual until 2012 was dedicating 2/3 of the concert to new material, between the album being promoted, recent singles and tracks soon to be released. Her releasing schedule is far slower nowadays and her albums are also shorter, so we don't get 1 album + half of 1 album in singles every year anymore, giving her less recent songs to pick from nowadays. On the other hand, her concerts are getting longer and longer, making what would be a reasonable number of new tracks before (8, for example, when she performed 15 songs per concert) seen very little. Even so, we have recorded performances from every A One song but THE Gift and recorded performances from every Colours song but Pray. Her tours dedicated to celebration and promotion of compilations tend to have less newer tracks (what makes total sense), and so did AT11 that was a special tour focused on the Fukushima disaster. And to be fair, there's a ton of old songs (usually the ones from after the TK era) on Namie concerts, but her setlists tend to be twice the size of Ayu's. Quote:
Love again is the saddest album in her discography, in terms of performing. Hope this is not going to be happen again and again.
