EDIT: I just finished watching the Weekly Idol episode. They are so adorable omg Jisoo is so funny Rosé and Jennie are adorable. Lisa didn't say a lot, but I think it might be because she might still have trouble speaking Korean?

There's always someone being the most popular and getting the most attention.
there's always a visual, a youngest member (maknae), a rapper, vocal, second vocal and a leader. leader is the one who's responsible for the group as a whole, to cheer them, to get them in the mood, like, to be a school president in class, as to say.
they appoint the visual to appeal to masses, and leader does a sort of control behind the scenes. the leader, ideally, should have a character and a persona to stand-out, not necessarily the beauty.

Dara was the visual, btw, then she was kinda appointed the PR-director, as she said herself, to promote the group on variety shows and social media.

CEO picks every position, and sometimes they appoint one leader, but then change it to another person (rarely).

I feel sorry for these girls cause they're clearly being shaped in a 2NE1-ish vibe and they dont convince me. They are talented and so but the image they were given is not what they should be doing imo

But then I'm not an artists manager lol Still, I don't think there's much soul for what they do.
