I have been to that website as well actually but I thought it would have been completed by now.
The court system is known for being slow so maybe that is the reason it is still pending. The divorce isn't finalized yet. That is my guess.

No tea, but my boyfriend's divorce lawsuit is also delayed for about an year right now. He heard yesterday that his case won't be heard until October. So, sadly I have learned that it could take a long time before things are finally sorted out.

I don't know about Ayu. Either she required to postphone the divorce herself or the judge won't hear them soon. We don't know (and shouldn't) what else is there to sort out, other than the end of the relationship. Money... properties...
Ayu earns more than he does, so maybe he is taking advantage of that (I don't know this, so don't assume that this is true.) Perhaps, with Manny it was less complicated.

Anyway we don't know what else is there.. only what I know from experiencing a divorce that it is extremely painful. Even when you have accepted that you are better off without your former significant other.

I think it is quite unusual to just publish a case online. Is this normal in America? I mean... hellloooooo? Privacy?

What I find to be interesting is that her lawyer is an American, which of course makes sense.

Anyway, I'm gonna try and forget that I've just looked at something that had absolutely nothing to do with me. >.<

Yeah, so it looks like they are separated but not actually divorced; at least not yet. I looked up her lawyer's law firm and they deal with cases specializing in wealthy clients with complicated estates.

I thought it would be better to post this here instead so the social media thread stays on topic.
It seems to be all about avex. I can't tell what they are saying about Ayu but they take a look at previous a-nation performances and show off a high heel shoe that is autographed by Ayu for her 10th anniversary it looks like. I also think Kaori Mochida(Every Little Thing) talks about her friendship with Ayu as well. At the end this guy sings the pineapple pen song too.

Started craving a new release today again, haha. I do find it strange. I mean, honestly we were spoiled before with an album a year; sometimes even two, so the lack of new music doesn't really bother me. It's understandable that she's slowing down in that regard. What I do find odd is we haven't had a DVD release in forever. The TA 2016 tour still hasn't even been released! I kept thinking that there were going to be releases announced by at least May (given the gap in her tour schedule at that time), but so far nothing. Maybe that gap in May is being used for creating new material??

Just found this video from 2002 (uraayu promotion) on YouTube about Ayu surprising the actress Sakai Ayana and they showed a lot of cover perfomances of what it seems to be a special TV show with Ayu covers. Anyone have ever seen this? Everything about this is new to me.

The show was Yoru mo Hippare. It was not a special where people just sing Ayu covers. It was a weekly show when other artists covered the top ten hits that week. Namie used to be a regular performer on it actually between about 94-97. It is cool to see the collection of individual performances. Finding the full episodes is pretty much impossible now.

I totally enjoyed this video but nooo, ayu's songs are best when they are sung by ayu. It's so strange...

Week later lol but this video is amazing, thank you for sharing! Even with other people covering them hearing her songs back to back like this gives me little goosebumps.

I spent an evening catching up on things recently and finally watched the CDTV performance from last month and it was so good. SEASONS was really great.
