I'm curious to see how/if this tour will change - she has such gaps between dates that she certainly has time to make changes if she wanted to. However, with so few dates currently listed, it doesn't seem likely that there will be huge changes - it wouldn't really make financial sense, especially if she's not selling out these shows. I'm sure the finale dates will have some changes, but that's to be expected.
I hope she does not cut Mad World or Ever Free, but I'm fine with any of the other songs changing (or not). By the time I see her in Fukuoka, I hope she can make at least some small changes that she feels makes it a better show. What strikes me as odd about some of the tour commentary though - I understand JtB was a very long, grueling tour with multiple parts. However, it's not like being on tour took 100% of her time up every day. Conceptually, this tour should have been in progress for the last year. No, she didn't have a ton of time to rehearse for it - that much is true - but she could've been working on things like stage props, costumes, setlist, etc. well in advance until it was something she felt good about. |

Maybe this gap is for changing songs. Every date a few changes and that's the "power of music". XD

I've been listening to some songs from PoM 2011 today and what makes me like those new arrangements are mostly the brass instruments lol Why ayu, why did you chose to only go with 6 people with strings this time.
I doubt there will be huge changes for Nagoya dates, but maybe we can hope for further dates.

omg
ever free <3 I am so happy and content. My absolute favorite of hers (besides Memorial Address), and she sounds so beautiful singing it... Makes me a bit teary-eyed... Not to be dramatic, but that song has been a theme for me for so many years, hearing her sing it makes me so happy. I'm disappointed in myself for not making myself go see it. ![]() |

I can’t believe people are disappointed in ever free. Like holy fuck.
This new version is miles better than the anything that came before it. Y’all don’t deserve it. Lol. I went to the concert and I kind of hope it doesn’t even see the light of day in blue-ray/dvd just so you’ll never get to experience it in it’s full glory. Let people have their own opinions about a song (didn’t you use to have IMO on your signature because of this same reason?). |

Lol wow people are really bent outta shape after that last comment of mine.
And sure, have your opinion, but if you don’t like it why would it matter if you don’t get to see it then (for those who dislike the new version)? Just be unbothered like RealLight. As mentioned, I never was utterly obsessed with the idea of her performing the song like a lot of people were, but felt the way she finally debuted it was prime. You get half that somber charm before it launches into an aggressive nature that adds more depth to the reality of what it’s like to lose a person. That dichotomy in energy levels of the song’s performance has an amazing impact! Additionally, I don’t feel her voice would be able to carry out the original or HALS MIX to its full potential, but what it can do is carry it half way and then bring it on home with her more full bodied rock tone. |

ever free is my favorite song by Ayu, and while I love that we FINALLY got a live performance of it, the rearrangement is very different from both the original and HAL's mix. I personally really like the performance from the recording, but it gives the song an entirely different feel, and people are allowed to not like that. The original mix of ever free is very calm, serene, and melancholy. The HAL's mix, on the other hand (which Ayu tends to use in tours over the original) takes that mood and turns it into something much more haunting. The new PoM rearrangement is beautiful, but it's much more outwardly sad/tragic while the more somber tone of the original is a huge part of ever free's charm.

Anyway, the new arrangement is really great for me. Btw, as Kanariya and ever free were finally in live after 18years, there is still hope for those sidetracks which haven't been in live especially my fav It was, Story... |

it made me teary, especially NEXT LEVEL, because it felt like I am hearing it live I had a chance to go to her Osaka shows if I stayed in Japan for work. but I decided to leave it. and I've attended ayu shows like 13 or 14 times by now so I felt like I was OK not to attend her 20th anniversary tour but noooooo now these audios really moved me I've been complaining about her singing since 2006 but it feels like I'm finally OK with her being off-key or shouting or over-dramatic or fake-crying. I love her so much and I'd like to accept her the way she is. and I'm so thankful for her because she literally changed my life. I hope to see her live again some day ![]()
