It sounds like WORDS to me too, maybe this is the reworked version that will be on the album

It's either intentional or a massive mistake. When you distribute music to places like apple and Spotify, you don't upload to each one individually, you give it to your distribution service and they push them out to each place, usually all at once. It's hard to say that it's a mistake though because they generally put barriers in place to stop this kind of mistake such as "are you sure you want to publish" "you will be charged x amount" (if they charge per item) etc.

Edit: Actually it does look like a mistake now that I see it on iTunes

The song style is kinda similar to WORDS, but it's not identical. The melody is different. No way it's another version of WORDS haha
