Mentioning of Ayu in my Sociology Project

It is the last day of mid-Winter break and even though I have other homework to start on, this project that is due 2 weeks from now, I have to get some parts out of the way 'cos it's LONG! My other homework is short assignments, so anyways ..

My Sociology teacher assigned the class a "WHO AM I?" 6-weeks project that each student has to do. There are topics you have to answer. The topics are: Personality, Morals, Ideals, Maturity Level, Life Goals, G.P.A., Career Goals, Ultimate Dream, Inner Self Description, Sense of Humor, Temperament, and Positive VS Negative.

On the Morals one, I mentioned Ayu. Sorry if it's so much for you to read, just skim if you'd like.

Morals
There are a lot of things I believe. One of the morals that sticks out to me is to just be myself around people. If a person puts on a mask of someone they are not, it will eventually fall off because no one can get away with murder of being someone they are not. Basically, it's just being true to yourself. There are people out there that aren't true to themselves and don't take the blame or feel any pain.
Another moral is, give everything your all. It doesn't matter what it is -- School, Work, Sports, and Relationships. Giving your all, as in not taking advantage of people, but just appreciating everything you have and working hard at it, because there is a big pay off. There's always a sacrifice, but if there is an understanding, people can get through anything. In relationships, people tend to not pay attention to what they are doing to people closest to them, until it's too late. Or, they regret not saying something to the person that was once close to them. There is a love song that is most precious to me, has one of the best lyrics I've ever heard. The song is in Japanese, unfortunately, but here is a translation of the lyrics:
For that which you should love,
for that which gives love;
Give it your all.
-"Dearest" by Ayumi Hamasaki
Ever since I heard that song 3 years ago, I've called the ones closest to me "My dearest people" or "My dearest person." It may sound cheesy, but that line really inspired me. Basically, giving love it's all. If there is something on my mind, I will say it and hope that person will say we can get through anything. Love should be embraced and given it's all because a person doesn't know if it'll be gone the next day, the following week, several months or years. If it's meant to be, the love will always remain and be alive.

It's fun incorporating J-pop into school. I put all these songs into a school project once. I got to play clips from Kingyo Hanabi and LEGEND for my class, though I don't think any realized how lucky they were to watch those, and just looked a bit confused. I also made "Banasonic B-snap" for an advertising project that included ELT, Ai Otsuka, Ayu, Namie and DAI on my poster:

Ai Otsuka-Kingyo Hanabi
Ai Otsuka-HONEY
Ayumi Hamasaki-Duty
Ayumi Hamasaki-Endless Sorrow
Do As Infinity-Tsubasa no Keikaku
Mika Nakashima-LEGEND
Mika Nakashima-Yuki no Hana
KOKIA-Ningentte Sonna Mono Ne

I've incorporated J-Pop into my schoolwork before. I've written essays on Ayu and stuff but my favorite one was when I got to play videos for the class! Fun times there ^_^

Anyhows, thanks guys It isn't due for another 2 weeks and I'll post what I get on it I love putting J-Pop into my school work. People really don't realize how lucky they are to hear Japanese music, considering we fans are all spread out all over the world .. I would LOVE to play one of Mika Nakashima's videos in class. Her videos are so .. wow

you can use her a case study example then for all sorts of things like market segmentation, image, Japanese market characteristics, PR, requirements for a n trend setter...and on and on~~ hell.. you can even use her in that dark corner field of Logisitics... hehehe
