Same here! And check out the classifieds underneath, those are great too.

This is the same site that had the story about Namie calling Ayu a "make-up monster" and Ayu calling Namie a "monkey".

WaiWai stories are transcriptions of articles that
originally appeared in Japanese language publications. The Mainichi Daily News cannot be held responsible for the contents of the original articles, nor does it guarantee their accuracy. Views expressed in the WaiWai column are not necessarily those held by the Mainichi Daily News or Mainichi Newspapers Co.

Geez people think with more reason and less emotion. There's no way avex would dump ayu. We shouldn't take thee articles seriously. I agree with what Corybobory sad and stardusties too.

No, my favorite article on that sidebar is "Suicidal pop idol pops pills as ill pops practically pops offs".

It's weird cos Mainichi is generally quite credible. "Waiwai" means "hubbub", though, so maybe it is just a silly section.

Either way, the article doesn't sound completely unlikely to me. Anything's possible, we can't really judge from where we're sitting.

I think my favorite title is "Hotshot Horie handed hanky-panky hot potato"

But, yeah, I've read other articles off of this section that are pretty iffy, so I wouldn't worry about this one.

This should be considered a duplicate post. The first post about this rumor is in the News section. It also lists the source of the news, which is Mainichi.

I completely agree, Impact. We hear the slightest "rumor" (and I say the term rumor loosely) and everyone freaks out. Calm down, people. No need to take out the rope when you hear a silly little rumor.

Even if they did dump her, it's not the end of the world. Fans will rebel, they'll lose profits, Ayu will move on, obssessed fans will follow her steps, hurray.

As pointed out, the Mainichi prints english translations of tabloid articles.
