White stuff in 'Because of You' PV??

Milk...? wax? liquid latex?.. something else?.. maybe it's computer put there?.. o.o;; I dunno

but every time I watch it.. I can't figure out what it is..

I wouldn't think it would be something random, that PV was full of meaning, everything meant something or was connected in some way. You can't really throw something random into a piece of work like that, it wouldn't work. I've thought about it a lot, and looking at what the main characters are doing in it, that white liquid can only represent one thing.

actually thats the first thing I thought of as well, at least that way it would fit into the PV, though its pretty gross

This PV is Ayu's version of the Rorschach inkblot. It reveals what's on everyone's mind.

Do you really think Ayu said something like: 'let's make a PV about prostitutes, and we'll have semen dripping out of the walls so everyone knows that it is about sex'?

The song and the PV are about her feelings. Some people seem to be too distracted by the white stuff to see anything but sex though.

Not likely to be milk or something that spoils (imagine what a mess that would be to clean up). Definitely not wax. Probably not paint, you shouldn't be pouring toxic stuff on the star and her staff. I would guess a talc suspension in water, or something like that.

Well I think the white stuff definitely has meaning and within the context of the video, does have a sexual connotation to it. But the way it is used is less explicitly sexual and more like a representation of the women being overpowered by men - hence it overflows from the pipes, comes rushing down to sweep them away etc. It relates to the lyrics as well about someone being in an unhealthy relationship and feeling powerless to escape it.

btw, the actual substance that they used kind of looks like glue in the pipe scene. Not sure about the rest though.

I've just never understood what it could be.. because the way she does it dripping off her hands and everything... it looks like it coats here but is still liquid and just so strange.. ^_^;; I wasn't even thinking about sex.. o.o;

it was too sticky to be paint or milk. in one part she pulls it apart like silly putty *not saying it is putty* i hate to be nasty, but i really think it is imitation semen. about what it REaLLY is, i think is some kind of goo.

i actually read a thread that talked about this same subject *ahem* before i actually saw the PV...and even when i was watching it, the thought of that didn't occur to me...
i dont know or have a guess what it is, but if i had to, i would say milk, which is white and pure, but spoils easily, just like the prostitutes...
but the stuff itself, i think glue has too much viscosity to be that....i dont think its paint either...

And this "white something" really has a meaning. They want us to think about it and to wonder if it really represents sperma. That's it.
