hrm...i just remember in college i was good friends with a girl from japan and she didn't understand the concept of "curse" words and so she ran around cursing all the time for a while. but she said there really weren't any "forbidden" words or "curse" words or whatnot in the japanese language. i dunno.

I agree. Every language has curse words, and I don't understand why people would think they wouldn't.
