Seems you include the entire sub genre Metal and other similar genres aswell, that'll make my picks easier .

Van Halen - Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love
Alice Cooper - Poison
Black Sabbath - Paranoid
Sonata Arctica - Victoria's Secret
Nightwish - Wishmaster

I recommend all of them for a listen, even if you're not a fan of the genres, because Wishmaster was the song that introduced me to metal, and the other songs was songs that got me more into rock/hard rock in general. Instant love on the first listen.

Also Nirvanna's smells like teen spirit and lithium

Oh my, I remember the first time I heard this song ... it was just a short part of it, played at some random show. I loved it, and I always wanted the song. After a while I figured I could be googling the part of the lyrics that I had heard, and so I found it.

I downloaded the album and with it came the MV for this song, I watched it so many times, yes, this song is indeed one of the best rocksongs ever.

Rob Zombie is the GREATEST! dragula is sooo good! and the remix is very good too (the one from the matrix )

I wasn't too impressed with his new album educated horses though -- nowhere near as rocky or cool as his olders stuff.

I didn't know the Matrix version was a remix, that's the only one I've heard. Wah, I need to find the original now. I've been looking around for downloads of his music, but it is pretty hard to find good music nowdays.

Thanks for telling me .

^ i can't decide whether the remix is better than the original or not -- they're both great in their own way.

i recommend you listen to Hellbilly Deluxe and the Sinister Urge -- they're his best albums. Dragula is on Hellbilly Deluxe. Zombie's remix album American-Made Music to Strip To is very good too -- he knows how to make a good remix!

Guns n' Roses - Welcome to the Jungle; Sweet Child o' Mine
Velvet Revolver - Sucker Train Blues
Smashing Pumpkins - Tonight (so totally agree with this, they have a couple of other really good songs)
Ayumi Hamasaki - Because of You ;D

I just got my hands on Hellbilly Deluxe, thanks for the tip. Listening to Dragula right now, and I also have no clue which version I like better... they're both wicked. I like the intro of the original better than the remix .

Gonna listen to some other songs off that album now.

Need to get my hands on more of his albums, I should have discovered this artist YEARS ago.

Most everything PJ Harvey and Radiohead. I like the Throwing Copper album by Live. And Nirvana's version of The Man Who Sold The World is even better than David Bowie's. I'd like to get into more classic rock, but the catalogue's just too big!

In Japanese music, Ringo Shiina's rock songs, fra-foa, UA, Boowy, Love Psychedelico.

That's what I can think of at the moment.

Sonata Arctica is awesome, although I like their song Broken and Kingdom for a Heart the best

In the Shadows-The Rasmus
Heart of Misery-The Rasmus
Fatal Design-Entwine
Chameleon Halo-Entwine
Rip Out the Wings of a Butterfly-HIM
Life Burns featuring Lauri Ylonen-Apocalytpica
Dancer in the Dark-For My Pain...
Army of Broken Hearts-Reflexion

just to name a few...I'm a HUGE Finnish Rock Band fan as you can see >< haha....I've got a very unhealthy obsession with Lauri Ylonen of The Rasmus
