Oh, I seem to remember that now that you say it, but back then there hadn't been any pronunciation about the tattoo actually being real.

Not really. You can always create an adhesive tattoo (and make several simmilar ones) and paste at the same place whenever you want.
It's a lot more easier and logic to do that then airbrush and hide everything at every sigle TV performance, concert, PV, photoshoot whatever.
We would surely have had much much more pictures of the "tatto" had it been real

I really think that the tattoo it real. in the outfit she is wearing in 1LOVE, the fabric that comes over her shoulder I think was mean to hide it.

Ayu does not have to share news of this tattoo with everyone if she does not want to. If she chooses to announce this "secret", then fine. If not, that's fine, too.
