Nah. I doubt it - Katherine was all over the place the whole season, even appearing in the bottom two twice. Despite what AI said one night (I think when Kellie got voted off?), Taylor led the voting the whole season (well, him and Kellie, until Kellie started slipping). Never ever in the bottom two - neither was Clay, or Carrie, or Kelly... and they all sold well (Clay's new album's not doing so hot by comparison, but there's a number of reasons for that. Haven't heard the album myself yet). All contestants who appeared in the bottom two at any time don't seem to sell as well. Fantasia's the exception for her debut, but her first-week sales for her new album were... just... decent.

I think Taylor's gonna sell quite well. Kat's a shot in the dark, but I don't see a lot of buzz about her. Don't think people care enough. Plus the delays are gonna kill her sales. Look at Justin Guarini. Hell, Bo was immensely popular during AI, but he popped into the bottom 2 once, a few album delays occurred, and 19E screwed with his sound... and he didn't do so hot.
