Ayu top trends in the world on Twitter, but so many of the tweets are talking about Timmy! Seems people are saying they couldn't focus on the song or performance because of "the person behind Ayu".

Overall it was nice. I much prefer these simpler performances without many people.

To Be... had some pretty bad vocals.
Ourselves... sounded good. But then the effect was kind ruined by the overacting.

I wish she'd control herself and stop the overacting and fake-crying at least in TV performances.

Those bangs looked horrible. And the dress, although pretty, was made for standing still... not to move around and overact.

I've read a lot of people saying that the image they have of her is burning up while watching the performance. Some others are really specific about her appearence, saying that she looks like Haruna Ai and Hokuto Masashi. Talking about her boobs and her big nose (?). Also a comment about showing her shoulders and her tattoo and asking her to remove her tattoo. (?) And one called her a shemale. Weird.

I don't know, I think this Music Station appearance was a bit of a let down/disappointment.
Just Ayu's segment alone was sort of pitiful. A lot of other, less legendary artists received more attention and air time. For Ayu they just asked a few questions and showed TO BE and ourselves. An artist as big as Ayu should have received a more highlighted feature.
Then the epic performance of X Japan coming right after her makes her performance seem a bit small in comparison.
As for twitter, I don't even listen to social media or have it.
We all knew there would be shallow criticisms of Ayu, didn't we?

The vocals during TO BE were terrible, especially in the chorus. She really needs to step up her game and hire a better vocal coach...

However, that arrangement of ourselves ir PURE GOLD. Seriously, I like it even more than the original version. It's so moody!
