I'm quite amazed that you can see the camera-man's shadow on her dress... i bet it was probly one or two seconds in the pv.

Nonetheless... next time they should cut out the dancers.. pls... no more dancers. I feel like the dancers are part of "ayumi hamasaki", and that's quite creepy..

"ayumi hamasaki" really is like a band name XD vocalist, band, dancers

Anyways, I liked the PV, I wouldn't say it's amazing, but it has a nice relaxing feel to it, a nice PV to watch during exam times !

Yeah, kind of like how Pat Benatar was ultimately a band, but with her name. I've thought that was how Ayumi was for a few years now.

Some part of BB is much better than fairyland but overall, i think fairyland is better

i like the PV to a certain extent!! i like the colours and scenery and it really brought out the summer feel. lovin' it!

but they focused too much on her dancers. i dont really like that. and also nothing much besides them playing with water and eating lobsters.

the making of BLUE BIRD will be them eating and playing. lol. so i think i will not buy CD + DVD jacket B.

IMO, it's happy, it's nice, but I probably won't watch it again. As others have said, she's used the the summer song on the beach theme for the last 2 summer songs, not including this one. I dunno...it just seems kind of bland to me; I wish she would have had a different director.

Speaking of which...the same director for "Beautiful Fighters"? oh... ;_;

Though i have downloaded it hours ago, I just watched it.
The py has successfully given out summer-happy feelings. But it also reminds me of fairyland. So I think this will make me purchase the version with Beautiful fighters making instead - unless it's worst.

Obviously it's a much cheaper PV than fairyland. But in some ways they're pretty alike. Ayu really loves the sea. They just travelled one day and a PV was created. No bad to me. As far as I see, this single is really gonna be another fairyland. So I'm looking forward to Beautiful Fighter and its PV just like alterna.

By the way, It looks like Ayu gained weight. She looks fat, or fatter.

It's a 5/10 in my book. Come to think of it, I like Startin' a lot more... =__= It's far more exciting. I was hoping for lots of oceans, plants and jellyfishes(don't ask why) for the PV, so its pretty dissapointing.

So for 2006, nothing beats Ladies Night/Rainy Day. Let's see Beautiful Fighters, although I'm not that confident in it... *sigh*

Wrong. The bluishness all around might be representing the blue sky -- besides, there's a lot of cuts with blue sky visible as well. Plus, there are those pillows/blankets on the yacht, which remind of the pillows/blankets on the cover.

But you're right with this one. Good expression, show-offy. Almost like "look, I have so much cash I can go freakin anywhere and film as boring PVs as I like."

Ayu-fans usually are good at interpretations, but obiously can't just sit back and enjoy. This PV is about having fun. I know ayu's fans like very different types of music, some enjoy her "darker" stuff more and others like her ballads.
THis isen't a dark song and it isen't about the pains in someone's present or past, or in someone's lovelife. It's a group of people getting together and having fun in the summer. And if it's not making you happy then yes, probably the PV failed its mission. But this PV/song is obiously NOT for all her fans to enjoy.

I can't see how it's mocking itself at all. I'd say startin' was much closer to doing that. This is a summer single. They're doing summerish stuff.

well I love the PV, I like it more than Fairyland and Fairyland was my fav PV of last year. I just love it, because she looks natural when she is with the dancers in the boat, beach and when they are eating, I think this PV is awsome, and it fits good with the song

i finally see the whole PV and i think it's like a PV for Ayu's dancers "it's time for us to get some recognition" i personally don't like Ayu's dancers in her PV's~

I loved the PV! I don't care if it's similar to fairyland, since it's so cute, happy and gives a great summer feeling! The song is growing on me, I like it more and more every time I hear it. Maybe this PV isn't very deep, but it's a great summer PV! The sea, the nature, having fun, sun is shining... that' summer.

She's having fun with her dancers... are we really allowed to be all, "Ayu go make stuff like before now" when she's pleased us in the past? I wonder though if we have a truly meaningful PV coming up.. or has Ayu used -- no. That's not possible, since she still has awesome lyrics. She just needs to think of the PVs more seriously. xD [imho, Startin' was incredible despite its 'lameness' xD]

I didnt' like the PV all that much but really i can't find any faults with it, they're going for a "having fun" PV and most of those kind of PVs turn out like that. I enjoyed the scenes where she was alone on the beach with the white clouds and sand contrasted with the blue sky and water that was very nice, but party type stuff i could really care less. But all in all its not a bad PV its a 6/10 in my book.

edit: i watched this PV 1/2 asleep so when i wake up i'll watch it again and maybe i'll have a different opinion.

i think the pv was made in new zealand , judging from the scenes which ayu stood on the top of a mountain and the scenes of sea carnivals...not sure

the first place that jumps into my mind is new zealand...seeing new zealand is a nice place where you can both see high mountains and sea scenery.

besides, i remember that ayu has said that she visited somewhere in the south in her dejideji diary
