Applause is much better than Born This Way for me. Very catchy, even if I don't find it particularly 'striking'.

I no longer care for her as a person, I just wanna enjoy her music now haha.

Applause is pretty disappointing. Doesnt catch you as quick as Born this way.
Hopefully this is not what the rest of the album will sound like... or this is gonna be another dud for her.

It's been so long since Gaga released a song I didn't feel like killing myself after hearing. Such a relief. I hate that clip which ended up being the pre-chorus (I live for the applause, etc.), but the chorus is pretty good. I am also a fan of the arrangement, it sounds somewhat videogame-ish.

I'm torn, I like it, but I don't know if that's just because BtW was so unlikable and my expectations are so low. It doesn't really make me want to dance, and it doesn't really go anywhere. Eh, average but I like the direction so hopefully there will be better on the album.
