It is indeed quite a big drop, at the same time it's still doing good consider ayu's current popularity. I think it will sell over 500K at least in the end this week.

there's no excuse for A COMP, with, oh A BEST2 was 1 year and a half befor this... bah 3 songs and 3 PV in the BF were in a single only 4-5 month ago, everybody got it and even that its not a problem to buy again.. this is like the 60s70s80s single was inside the BF all (only the instrumentals are left ¬¬) and 8 of the 12 PV (without the 2 new and teh 3 60s70s80s) were included in a FILMOGRAPHY compilation at the end of 2005...

That's the reasons because A COMPLETE shloud sell more than BF, and its not because i prefer 1000 times ayu than namie... if I liked the same ayu and namie, i love them teh same way and i had 35 € to buy something... i would but A COMP. although in this hipotethical situation i loved the both...

But okey, ther's still some days before the final of the first week and we can wait for a miracle... MW did that, but well ayu isn't doing the good promotion she should do.. TV performances, some more magazines... but well..

today sales aren't too bad for Ayu but is a big drop and is not what A COMP should sell...

It's not about excuse of A BEST 2 being sold a year ago (while it's part of the reason), and it's not about quantity obviously. Anticipation is the key factor. I believe both best albums have its quality, but namie hasn't released any best album for 6 yrs, and currently she is really popular. Yes, the songs in 60s 70s 80s were included in BF, but that's what boosting up BF sales, as there are not many people buying that single.

I dun even know why many of you compare A COMPLETE with BF. Ayu has her own statue. She doesn't need to compare with anyone. The only person she would be compared to is herself. As long as A COMPLETE is selling well it's already a success.

I only compare A COMPLETE to BF because this is the last succesfull BEST ALBUM in charts right now before A COMPLETE. I'm not saying BF didn't should sell as it dit but A COMP. should sell more than BF and other compilations for its quality and low price... I think A COMP. deserves to sell more, BF and A COMP are different and namie and ayu are also different, i know, i'm only comparing their sales according to what i think of each album. And it's not only with this bests, for me GUILTY should have sold more than others imo...

Of course is my own opinion it doesn't mean it's the reallity.. maybe i'm wrong and A COMP should sell less than BF and other bests.. No, what it will sell is what it will be, no more, but i can judge if this future and current sells is what A COMP deserves...

116k drop to 70k...hmm...not so bad considering my expectation is surpass 600k for its first week, and it already sold 318k in just 2days!!
there's still 1,2,3,4,5...yes, 5days more to sell a lot before Oricon announce the 1st week sales!!

How can it flop?
If it will pass half a million it will be far from a flop let alone it might do it just in 1 week

A lot expected it to sell 350,000-450,000 in total if anything. That would be a flop.

Unless if you mean by drops which might be possible.
