And I have splendid taste, the Heart Station cover is quite nice. I love the whiteness of the background, her clothes and Hikki herself contrasting with the sky blue and pink font. Very nice. It's even nicer on the big-ass poster hanging over my bed.

^ I joke, I joke. I like most of Hikki's covers. I even like This Is The One. In HQ wouldn't have been bad as a booklet photo, but as a cover...idk, I wouldn't of picked it as a cover...and the text was awful..but I digress.

At least WILD LIFE has a cover. *cough*UU06*cough* I'm not complaining about UU06 though cause that package was really cool, even if it's a ***** to get to the disc.

I like the WILD LIFE cover. It's nothing immaculate, but it's certainly not bad.

Btw, what's up with U.Blog? I guess they're going on hiatus too.

The Wild Life cover isn't that bad... I mean it's not all glamed like were used to seeing it for other artist, but hikki was never too "glam" anyway... That's one of the reasons why I like her!
But in all honesty I will not be getting this. I feel like since this was going to be hikk's last performace in a pretty long time,she should have gave it our all. Instead of doing that she totally half-assed it. I'm still kinda ticked off because of that. :/

I don't think she half assed it at all. o_O You just said yourself, Hikki isn't a "glam" girl, so if you were expecting something like an ARENA TOUR from Ayu, then you were sorely mistaken from the beginning.

But anyway, I think she did exactly what she set out to do. She wanted to create a show with a warmer atmosphere than usual and she basically projected In The Flesh into a much larger venue. I thought it was a great concert. (:

Even if I don't like the cover. She's never been known for having amazing covers. The only album cover I like is DR, and a handful of single covers. I really loved this concert, and The content is what's most important. But there is this one part in the concert that's only a few seconds long that I really loved the look of. I really wish I took a screen cap. I saw it when it was streamed live. She was in her first dress. And she was standing there looking out at the audience and there was nothing but black all around and above her. I loved the angle of it and wish it was the dvd cover.

This is such a myth. And even if not, it's nothing more than an opinion for sure. I personally like many of her covers. Her older single covers don't really do it for me, but from Colors onward I've liked pretty much every cover of her (not counting her Utada career, though the Exodus UK shoot was brilliant).

She has some of the best covers I've ever seen in pop, like Deep River, Sakura Drops and Ultra Blue. She might have a bad one every now and then (Prisoner of Love, or Boku wa Kuma or something), but she's had some great covers so to say she's "known for never having amazing covers" is really kind of wrong.

Damn, I'm hard-core stan. Sorry for being all serious about it.

No, I agree with you. I think she has some beautiful covers. I don't really know why the general idea is that she always has bad ones. Probably because they're mostly close-ups, but I actually prefer close-ups so...meh

I personally only really like, Ultra Blue, maybe traveling.

HS was okay. Nothing really bad about it. Maybe Distance.

The rest of her covers are average to not very good for me. She always looks odd. Like they never know how to style her to where she looks nice.
