it's almost the end of July and it's the time to release new information...
But anywayz... this 10th anniversary is a mystery.... Not much hype... too little things going around ayu in Japan...

I do wish I had the money to order this from mu-mo. Not to mention the a-nation '08 stuff. I'd be having a field day if I wasn't broke. XD

And I personally think that for the price, the DVD and photobook alone are completely worth it. When you think of them as the focus, and the single collection as a bonus, it makes much more sense.

Honestly I think they shoulda just made it a DVD release plus photobook & maybe a 3" CD with only the one "Who..." track on it. Called it A LIVE ~complete unreleased~ or something. Sell that for 4800 yen.

People would probably be kissing the feet of avex executives, calling it such a great deal.

Release the single collection as a separate thing. They'd be making twice as much money for the same amount of effort, and the fans would be happier, i think.

Actually I dun really care about the live... Well it would be stupid to put pvs there again anywayz.. So I dunno. That 48 page photobook doesn't sound that attractive at this moment. LOL.

Like someone here already said, A BEST 2 was for the 2nd period of ayu's career (A BEST was for the 1st) this one is for her whole 10 anniversary (and of course most of the single songs will be used again).

It's pretty official if CDJapan lets to pre-order that, I did.
Avex might be waiting just a few days to announce it properly.

And just for the record, it's a very different release from the A BESTS. There are still 15 songs on this collection that went unrepresented in the A BESTs.

All this is moot if you own every album & single anyway, but chances are that you're a completeist then and you'll wanna get this just for the DVD & new version of "Who..."

But if you already only have the A BESTs, then with this you get a photobook, a DVD, and 16 tracks that are basically new to you. That's not a bad deal for under $50.

tbh I dun buy singles, so if kanariya, AUDIENCE, Daybreak, etc. are the single versions, it will be excellent. But I have a feeling that they may be the album version again.

Of course there're many songs from A BEST/2 not present on this one. Many songs, esp from A BEST 2, are album songs. So it'll be weird to see them on this "ALL SINGLES" best. BUT, now I see you put HANABI as one of the features not on this upcoming best... I'm shocked!!! Gosh July 1st, HANABI, Greatful days, HANABI~episode II~ are A sides as well!!!! How come they're not on there!?!?!?!??!

This is not even a "complete" all singles. They exclude trauma, end roll, too late, etc. I know they're not the first track on the single, but they're A sides as well. I have no idea why avex would omit these songs. Damn I hate this. This is so incomplete.

They omitted them because they weren't the title tracks. If you look back at the releases, A, H, and & all had subtitles, like A (monochrome) or H (independent), and & (ourselves). Basically, those were the headlining songs, and thus are the ones chosen for the best. This isn't that incomplete, considering that if she didn't omit songs, there'd be a disc with like 8 songs on it.

This is sort of the same for me. I really want the covers and the DVD, but the 3 CDs seem sort of like dead weight on this release. Might as well have planned something with demo tracks of the singles + this unreleased stuff instead.

Well the title of the album is ~ALL SINGLES~ not ~ALL A SIDE SINGLES~, and yes, the rest of the a side songs are important but they also are just excuses to enhance the single and sell more, there should be just 1 song that stands our from the rest, hence the name single. IMO

Also, since there not and official tracklist yet, they might be working on the content of the album just like it happened whn A BEST 2 appeared on mumo and was edited.
