He/she/it did the same thing in Koda's page.

I bet it's from the same creator of her "Dec. 2nd mini-album".

Were you trying to access the video from Tokyo? If so, then the purpose of Avex uploading Ayu PVs in full are for overseas visitors, not for domestic use (then again YouTube is a Google/Alphabet subsidiary, based out of the San Francisco Bay Area/Silicon Valley)...

I have always loved JEWEL, and one detail I noticed lately is how it's like a duet between Ayu and the piano. Whenever Ayu's verse begins to trail off (as she sings her last syllable in a given line), the melody of the piano moves into the foreground and simultaneously takes over as the main focus for attention in the listener's perception. It's really fun, this interplay between Ayu and the piano lead - this back and forth causes the listener to always be aware of the intricacy hidden between the layers of the arrangement and composition. It's a very simple sounding ballad, but using this technique makes it sound very active. It's very well coordinated and precisely thought out.

I'm watching Ayu live at a'nation10 singing Crossroads. She doesn't have the best voice, but she has her fighting spirit when singing that song live. I love it so much *_*

I listened to LOVEppears, Duty, and I am... today. They really are legendary albums. I mean, I think A ONE and all of her other releases post 2005 are spectacular, but there is just something about ayu music from 1999-2005 or so. But I can't put my finger on what exactly. Absence of CREA? Ayu being in a different state emotionally? Ayu growing and changing as a person? Who knows. I still love almost everything to this day, except for party queen, which is only saved by reminds me, return road, tell me why, and how beautiful you are.

The album that I'm most likely to play fully without skipping through is I am... It's just...perfect.

I am... is indeed perfection. Lyrically and musically really strong.
Only downside is that naturally didn't get a PV (for whyyyy???) and endless sorrow is not the original version. I do like the mix as well though.

Ayu up to 2005 has been the best because afterwards I feel she was creatively exhausted. She has been overexposed for so long and delivering new music in such a short time. Because she is writing all lyrics herself she was burnt out at some point, yet she still continued.

I think she might have been able to keep up the magic for longer had she taken more breaks and wasn't this overexposed for such a long time. Just my theory.

^That might be the case. She does still seem to come up with great concepts though. IE NEXT LEVEL, Cirque de Minuit, Rock 'n' Roll Circus, etc.

Listening to I am... in full again. Really appreciating a song is born after all the terrible events during the past few days.

dude, a song is born can make me cry. I have never cried once during a movie or song but I actually had tears well in my eyes. I really hear what you're saying, though.

^ was that an intentional pun on "she was on fire on crossaroads"? Either way, Love songs was such an amazing era but when things were coming out I dindn't enjoy them that much. I just really got in love with Love songs like almost one year after it came out

Oh crossroad still holds up today. Definitely one of her recent best. Her last best single IMO.
