Hirai Ken to release an anniversary book

Hirai Ken will release an anniversary book (currently untitled) on his birthday, January 17 of next year.

The anniversary book will be released as a two-book set. One book will be an archive of all interviews from 1995 until now that were featured in music magazines 'WHAT's IN?', 'GB', 'PATi・PATi', and 'BREaTH'. The second book will be 150 pages worth of new photos and a long interview tracing the singer's 20-year career.

The book will be available for purchase through reservation only for 9,000 yen (approximately $72.32 USD). Reservations can be made through his official website on the day his nationwide tour 'Ken Hirai 20th Anniversary Live Tour 2015' kicks off on September 4.

Ken's thread is not that active on AHS . If I do not post mutiple times on here, would others do that ?

And his thread would probably be pushed way back and lost somewhere out there

Not many people are fans of his music . I've been a fan of him for almost 10 years and if what I'm doing offends you ,maybe someone else should take over my place

It's something I can choose not to but I still continue to do it

I have to agree with Karen. If she were to only edit her posts there's a chance the thread would be harder to find. Plus, I don't think an edited post makes the thread "bolded" in the forum as if it were updated (don't know if you catch my drift). So I think it's better with the excessive posting. Unless a mod thinks otherwise, of course.

If I post in Ken's thread (and other non active threads) every single hour , then I can understand if I post excessively but it's different if I'm literally the only 1 that's posting in certain particular threads

And believe me , being the only person posting in particular threads is not fun . It means that either nobody's interested in the artiste I like and/or people just can't be bothered to read on what I post

For me , if I were to post something , I will do so every few hours (sometimes 1 during day time , 1 during night time) if not once per day depending if Ken's thread is active with news updates on him or not

Is that too much to ask ?

It's not easy to find updated news on Ken online , even up to now . I did that before , it was & is still hard

And unlike other artistes , Ken doesn't do social media . Only his staff & fanclub staff occasionally post updates on him (mainly music related) but aside from that zilch

rude much imho... What does it matter to you anyway? Is it really bothersome?
I think it's nice of Karen to keep this thread active despite the clear lack of activity out here. So if someday, someone was to visit this thread, they would find all of the latest Hirai Ken news and information easily.
Plus, as already mentioned, the thread wouldn't be easy to find if there's something new in Hirai Ken's career.

They wrote on their Facebook page due to copyright issues , they cannot make the CD + DVD edition of the single

Well , the DVD footages found in the CD + DVD of Kimi no Kodou wa Kimi ni Shika Narasenai is not the PV of the A-side

Instead , KEN HIRAI TV Vol.3 「20th Anniversary Special Long Interview -前篇-」is included in the DVD . I'm not sure what's inside this file led Sony BMG Taiwan not being able to make this edition though

And I just checked , KEN HIRAI TV Vol.3 「20th Anniversary Special Long Interview -前篇-」is almost close to 36 minutes long o_O

It's a good or bad thing since the B-sides in the single are only made available in the CD only (excluding the instrumental of the A-side which's only included in the CD + DVD edition)

Maybe this means the PV for Kimi no Kodou wa Kimi ni Shika Narasenai will be brought forward to be included in Ken's next album instead ?

This could very well be so. Are you one to usually purchase Taiwan editions? I pretty much always buy Japanese editions so something like this wouldn't effect me much.

yes because Taiwan edition of anything is always much cheaper for me to afford . Let alone , DVD region code for Taiwan is the same as Singapore

Like for Ken's last album JAPANESE SINGER , I bought the Taiwan press even though Sony BMG Taiwan didn't made both CD + DVD editions but it's ok as Ken rarely has really good/entertaining PVs :x
