You think Rock'n'Roll Circus will reach 700,000 copies? That's... almost completely we can say it won't. Like, for sure. There's a better chance of her releasing a five year anniversary version of Bold & Delicious/Pride and that selling 500K.

And as far as Hikki's single sales (not that it even matters here)... well her last two singles sold 80K or so each but right before that was Beautiful World which sold a quarter of a million copies and before that Flavor of Life, 700K. Sounds like good singles sales to me.

LOL! Sorry Chibinina. I'm actually relieved that that's what you meant . I think she can sell that much too.

So Ayu's next album... it'll probably sell like 150K probably And maybe that year the best selling album will have sold 365,000 copies :p.

No no, I said that I can see anything released by Hikaru Utada this year (or anything that has a good tie in) reaching that level. I never predicted that R'n'RC would sell 700k, and I have no idea where its sales will peak.

But Beautiful World/Kiss&Cry had the whole Nissin + Evangelion thing. FoL had HYD as well.

It's weird though that KHII didn't help Passion at all. That single even got #2!

Everyone is taking my post WAY too seriously XD. I was just musing. I'm always very interested in sales and how they change over time, so obviously I know her album won't sell as much as the previous one. It was all just thinking out loud, ^^"

As for million sellers. Mr. Children and EXILE have a chance, but I don't see EXILE releasing another album this year... I'd still like to see digital album sales, just to get a clue on how those are spread out.

So what you're trying to say is that she only got good sales because of what was tied up with it? Everyone knows you despise her but that's not too nice. Continually citing excuses for other's success is kind of... low, sorry.

If Ayu were to tie get tied up with, I don't know, say, the new and ending Nodame Cantabile movies I'm sure you wouldn't say "Oh yeah the sales were good but that's because it was the theme song to NC!! And if her new album sells 600K, well that'll be because of these tie ups!" and that would mean there'd be no reason to continually be like "Go Ayu! You're doing your best!" because the only reason it'd be selling is because of the tie up, right?

Passion still sold over a million downloads. It's so weird. Sometimes I'm not sure what prompts people in Japan to download the physical single instead of downloading.
