I think these votes have a lot to do with their songs. Kimura Kaela is now no. 1 because her wedding song Butterfly is one of the most popular of last year, and both Hamasaki Ayumi and Namie Amuro had a massive "wedding-themed" hit (M and Can you Celebrate?).

LOL at Kaela being #1. She'd look really beautiful if she wore an elegant wedding dress, but I've never seen her look elegant, she's more weird-cutesy than anything.

^Yeah I think Butterfly has to do with it, and of course her getting married to Eita.

I wish we could see wedding pictures like we always get to see of American celebrities..

This poll is funny because, like, half the time in her preformances she IS practially wearing what could be considering a wedding dress.

I'm wondering if this is a subtle hint from the very tradition Japanese society that someone Ayu's age should be getting married... but I doubt any man could really handle how harcore she is with her career. Rock on Ayu!!
