you guys, they didn't get married. you need a license in order to get married, they just registered their marriage so they can their wedding whenever they want now.

Stupid question, but if they didn't get married then why do they BOTH have rings on their fingers?
;/ I mean, I guess they could both have engagement rings, but... it's unusual for guys to have them...

I think if you have a license, you are married. They also could have done like my parents did where they said their vows right in front of the Justice of the Peace.
I could be wrong though...Never been married. XD

Registering a marriage means you are officially married by law. The wedding ceremonies with the dresses and flowers and stuff are just social events to celebrate. So if you're talking about the real deal, it's the registration. She is Mrs Schwarz by law now.
