Haha you mean Avex corrupted Japanese police/justice ? Of course they didn't. Ayu simply may have sent a bunch of the best lawyers to the prosecutor and promised the toughest trial ever. + avex may have called some people in the ministry to tell that if they really want to have a "cool japan" policy, release Leslie should be the right thing to do. To convince the ministry they may have reminded officials that they are the biggest label in Japan. It would not be the first time japanese police show some lax to Music Industry. And the case wasn't severe. I mean Leslie harmed nobody. This affair was only based on zeal from some officers/officials really. No need of money really, just simple calls. |
