oooh..I loved the Switchfoot songs used on the 'A walk to remember' soundtrack. Mandy Moore's version of 'Only Hope' was really nice.

hrmm...

Rufus Wainwright - Poses
The Cure - There Is No If
The Tea Party - These Living Arms, Heaven Coming Down, Psychopomp
Sneaker Pimps - Destroying Angel

That's all I can think of off the top of my head, and I'm currently having rockout metal time, so I'm not going to look just right now.

I've been thinking.

Coheed & Cambria - Time consumer (well, maybe not sad per sé, but definitely an emotional song)
U2 - Mothers of the disappeared, Running to stand still (hell, U2 is a great band)
Any Portishead song (they're great, but their music's definitely depressing)
No Doubt - The climb
Smashing Pumpkins - Galapagos

And basically any emo song you can find.

Downloads

I uploaded Alamo Race Track's 'Life Like Fire'. Download it here.
I also uploaded Novastar's 'When The Lights Go Down On The Broken-Hearted' here.
