White stuff in 'Because of You' PV??

it was too sticky to be paint or milk. in one part she pulls it apart like silly putty *not saying it is putty* i hate to be nasty, but i really think it is imitation semen. about what it REaLLY is, i think is some kind of goo.

i actually read a thread that talked about this same subject *ahem* before i actually saw the PV...and even when i was watching it, the thought of that didn't occur to me...
i dont know or have a guess what it is, but if i had to, i would say milk, which is white and pure, but spoils easily, just like the prostitutes...
but the stuff itself, i think glue has too much viscosity to be that....i dont think its paint either...

And this "white something" really has a meaning. They want us to think about it and to wonder if it really represents sperma. That's it.

well, its not supposed to be actual semen (eew!), its just supposed to represent it (if that is what it means). It must be something else. I mean, do you honestly believe that she is going to use real semen?????? Dont think so.

I like that idea my first idea wasn't too far off from yours, I always thought it was a flowing away of purity, how it's been lost and whatnot

That semen idea is gross, I don't think Ayu would go that far.

I think its like a white paint, shes trying to make herself pure (color white) by covering herself in a mask (the paint) and trying to hide who she really is.

I think it is semen, and you guys are overreacting about the entire idea of it being semen. It could mean white=purity=washing away thier "sins" but IMO this is a very dark PV and there are sexual conotations, but i'm not suggesting that the semen should be the focus of it. It's just like a previous poster said, a way for males to be sort of dominant in the sense--it does wash over the prostitutes. Ayu likes to make fun of gender stereotypes this way, check out my names WOMEN.

This PV is Ayu's version of the Rorschach inkblot. It reveals what's on everyone's mind.

Do you really think Ayu said something like: 'let's make a PV about prostitutes, and we'll have semen dripping out of the walls so everyone knows that it is about sex'?

The song and the PV are about her feelings. Some people seem to be too distracted by the white stuff to see anything but sex though.

sort of a "test" for the audiences per se. I've actually been thinking about this idea for quite a bit of time and it's pretty weak how natural impulses can completely override logic so easily. Sex, and violence is certainly on everyone's mind. But that's another discussion.

I dont think it was supposed to look like the real thing, but more like an abstract substance that could be intepreted that way in the context given.

well, I was the one who asked this and ppl start to yell at me sayin that I'm pervs...:lol: coz I said it was semen...but when I put more look into it, I think it's just too white to represent semen? I was thinking that it was to represent purity...coz white means pureness, and water is to wash them, juz like ppl had been sayin earlier...
